I want to watch my DVD! I was too sad to watch it last night but I want to watch it now!
I feel better but I want to date! I wish it wasn't so hard.
Do I really want to feel better? I'm still at square 1 (been that way since middle school)
I don't want to get better (my mood)
I'm tired of pretending everything's okay.
Ugh, I'm getting worse now.
My grandma just says you can meet one at work or church. She's no naive.

I'm supposed to be thinking of this. I wonder what 'a way out' means.

I think that's why it's so frustrating. God is so good but he's so silent on this.

You are not your thoughts or feelings. You are the observer who sees them. When they pass by, you don't have to hop on that train and ride it. Initially, it may be a reflex to jump on when they rocket by, but over time you will be able to have more control, to let them go passed you without being dragged into their negativity.

I struggle w/ that.

I read in a book by Max Lucado a good analogy. When you look up at the full moon, it's really bright. The thing about it is, the moon has no light of its own. It only reflects the greater light into a dark world. In the same way, we are the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). Our world may be full of imperfection and sin, but we have the Greater Light residing in us. We have the Holy Spirit and because of that, we have His fruits, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

There is hope. There is goodness. There is LIGHT! But we must, as my signature says, focus on those things. Don't give into the despair of being single or thinking your life has no purpose. He created everything in the universe, including you, and it ALL has a purpose.

As promised, I'm sorry for raining on everyone's parade here. I'm posting in the Depression section a lot of my bad thoughts now.

I don't believe wanting to be loved or wanting to love someone is a sin or a flaw. I think that is by design and that is God's design. God tells us to love. Plenty of examples through the entire bible.

There is also a part in the bible that says being alone is meaningless and misrable business and two is better tan one.

Ecclesiates 4: 8-11
There was a man all alone;
he had neither son nor brother.
There was no end to his toil,
yet his eyes were not content with his wealth.
“For whom am I toiling,” he asked,
“and why am I depriving myself of enjoyment?”
This too is meaningless—
a miserable business!

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?

It is possible to burn with passion and with passion like that it is also easier to sin. But marriage can take care of that. So again God covers all the bases. Again God saves us and takes care of our needs.

1 Corinthians 7:9
But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

Even if we are flawed by being wired this way. God knows it and we have God's blessing to get married.

Interesting perspective. Thanks for sharing all that. There's no doubt wanting to love & be loved is a good thing.

Just considering what you've each said in the past, especially like when DragonFox mentioned the other day that you were texting personally back and forth (I assume you meant elsewhere when you said that, Dragon, not just here in WYOM or even CF in general). Also please consider joining up as a voice actress for one of the minor characters that I came up with in our game Arc Arath should it ever be turned into a sword-and-sorcery fantasy anime series - Sun Maiden Ulanda, Moon Maiden Alhana, or Star Maiden Kekule - who are all keepers of the signature forest region of the game, @Somber.

(Yes, for anyone here who is a Final Fantasy fan and rightfully sees the ninth installment as the best in the entire franchise, the Sun, Moon, and Star Maidens are a deliberate reference to that game. )

Final Fantasy IX = Best game of all time. Perhaps tied only with Chrono Trigger.

DragonFox91 is not open to dating anyone from a different state. And I don't think he likes me in that way lol.
