OK, there is two very possible scenarios that have two very polar opposite and significant endings.

1/ Biden appoints Harris to the supreme court.
Then, selects Hillary the Clinton..... as the new Vice President.
The administration enacts the 25th amendment and retires old Joe due to mental inadequacies.
The Hillary of Clinton becomes the 47th President.

2/ The Republicans take the house and the senate in the Midterms.
The republicans appoint the Donald to be speaker of the house.
The Donald impeaches Biden and Harris.
As he is third in line... The Donald becomes the 47 President of the US.
AND... an added bonus.. He can still run in 2024 for another four years.

Both are possible.

Well your scenarios are very interesting and entertaining. I got my doubts on how feasible and probably they are, especially the second one with Donald Trump that would be one that I would want fact checked if it could even be done, the first one I think is possible just extremely unlikely.

The biggest problem with the first one is in spite of Biden's many problems, he is human I don't see him cooperating to make this sort of thing happen. He worked really hard to get into this office for decades, I think he needs to be beaten up more before he can throw in the towel. As far as his health and mental capacity goes I think he is prone to stone wall a bit more and act like their is nothing wrong, or at least nothing seriously wrong and the media may continue to play along just as long as he doesn't do something major while on camera.

I see your point but if they wanted... Biden would not have a say in it. If the Democrats wanted this.. He would simply have no defense.

These are both nuts.

1) VP Harris has a job already, and I'm pretty sure the president wants her to remain in that job, or he wouldn't have chosen her as his running mate. There are quite a few other well-qualified people that President Biden could nominate for the Court.

Also, why the fixation on Hillary Clinton? I like her, I voted for her, but she lost the election and we've moved on. I don't think she'll run for public office again.

2) The Speaker has historically always been chosen from the members of the House, and the former president is not currently in Congress. (I suppose he could always run for a seat in the House, and could potentially win that seat.) Additionally, the president does not impeach people; the Congress does. Hypothetically, the Congress could vote to remove both the president and the vice-president without cause, but if they do so, they have lost their minds. The Republican Party has been in trouble of late, but I don't think their majority would resort to an actual coup like that.

I see your point but if they wanted... Biden would not have a say in it. If the Democrats wanted this.. He would simply have no defense.

Sure but this whole thing could easily explode in their face. They spent a lot of work to get him in into office, if they fired him it could easily come out that they actually knew he was not really mentally fit to be in office in the first place and their own role in that cover up would come out.

Secondly you got to be careful when going against your party when it comes to elections as far as damaging the brand, and the problem of getting rid of a loyal soldier. It is one thing if Biden has a massive stroke and severely incapacitated from that, nobody would blame them and that is what that Amendment is for. In this case, though it would be more a case that a politician is well past his prime, and his party knew it and facilitated everything, only to try to scape goat him when his popularity tanks.... I just don't know how that kind of thing plays out.

And then to top it off Harris and Hillary are also bad and unpopular politicians as well.

In this case, I think the Democrats would be better trying to repeal the Amendment that set a firm 2 presidential term limit as a hail Mary and attempt to bring Barak Obama back for a 3rd term.

I expected nothing less that this type of response.

However, Biden and Harris are at odds right now. Both have popularity that are record low. Biden would love to ditch this lady.. She would like him gone so she can take over.

All in all... there are bigger batters in the dug out who are in control of the game. Biden and Harris are merely pawns.

Secondly, the speaker doesn't even have to be an elected person.

If the last 6 years has not taught us that strange things will happen... it has taught us nothing.

One thing should be pointed on the political scenarios as far as the Republicans go I don't see conservatives doing any kind of coup type thing and this comes from obvious self serving reasons. Basically we are in one of these rare Jimmy Carter moments where you don't want to get in the way of a person's and a party's screw ups. The failures of Biden, and Harris are so great that even the sympathetic media outlets are having trouble covering for them. And this is a sweet spot to be in. Once you take your lumps on the national race this actually is a good spot to be in when it comes to offices that are down ballot from the presidency in the future. So even if their was some parliamentary magic trick to get Trump in, much better to bleed them at the ballot box by keeping him in office instead.

I don't think they worked very hard to get "Biden" in office.. They just worked hard to get Trump out.. Biden was their only choice. He's perfect. He's easy to control and does whatever they tell him to.

IMO Obama is doing just like he queried... He's sitting somewhere, talking and the man, Biden, is speaking.

He's a remote President.IMO. Him and some others.

Yeah Covid gave Biden a way to phone in his campaign. On the working hard, I include all of Biden's attempts at running for the presidency from 1988 till 2020.

I wanna see Hillary and Michelle duke it out for the position.
Michelle would beat her hands down... in a cage match... Hillary would wear weighted gloves with chloroform on them... or anything else she could do...

Kind of bizarre if you ask me.
In the first place, there will never be 67 Senators voting to impeach Biden. We could only get about 56 voting to impeach Trump, and there were far more serious reasons with far more serious evidence.
In the second place, I see no evidence that Biden is mentally impaired. He could probably say person, chair, man, woman, TV, and add laptop and all the family dogs without breaking a sweat.
Harris is the current Vice President and couldn't break a tie to appoint herself to the Supreme Court.
Hillary is in her mid-70's.
If Trump became Speaker of the House and tried to take the White House back, I imagine that the Supreme Court (in an 8-1 decision with Thomas dissenting) would quickly put an end to those dreams.

Hi @hislegacy

I would agree that option #3 is about as likely as either of the other two. @JacksBratt seems to have filled up his Kool-Aide cup to overflowing yesterday.

God bless,
Ted

Hi @miamited

The difference between my post and yours is that I ridiculed the idea and you ridiculed and insulted the man. God cannot bless that, no matter how you sign off.
