Six police officers injured, $100K in damages and 217 arrested in the DC insurrection when Trump was inaugurated, CNN described the mayhem as 'coordinated'.

Police injured, more than 200 arrested at Trump inauguration protests in DC | CNN Politics

Charges against all 200+ were dropped by the following July, in our two-tiered justice system, yet dozens from 1/06 are still in jail a year later:

Prosecutors Dropping Remaining Charges Against Trump Inauguration Protesters (Published 2018)

'The first trial ended with acquittals for all six defendants. After that defeat, the government dropped charges against 129 defendants, including Petrohilos, saying prosecutors would focus on the defendants against whom they had the strongest evidence. But a second trial for four people in May ended in acquittals on most charges and a hung jury on the rest.' Government drops charges against all inauguration protesters

So they did their best, but even the defendents whom they had the best chance of convicting were aquitted. Ah, the perils of the justice system. Sometimes it convicts people you support and frees those you don't.

Some comments made me chuckle. But they make automatic Mustangs? I hired a jet black soft top for a day in Honolulu some time back. Then found out the speed limit was 50mph around the whole island...

I did the Road to Hana on Maui once and it was pretty obvious which cars were rentals and which ones weren’t.

“There sure are a lot of Chevy Malibus around here…”

I can't remember now what I drove on the Road to Hana (nothing special) but when we flew to the Big Island, I had a Hyundai Kona in Kona.

(the winner was the Jeep on Kauai.)

Come 1/23 when the new Congress takes office, this garbage will stop, perhaps then Congress can investigate why there are political prisoners from 1/06 still being held without charges.

There will not be a new Congress taking office on January 23rd.

There are approximately 40 suspects being kept DC jail pending trial. Each of them was arrested on a warrant that specified which crimes they were accused of and signed by a judge. Every last one of them.

I don't have a list of the names for those 40 handy, but from the individual cases I've seen go past me, the vast majority of those being held prior to trial have been indicted by a grand jury. Of the few that aren't they could be early in the process and haven't been indicted yet.

If you have counter evidence you should present it, or stop making this claim.

No. In my opinion, they should confiscate Trump's assets and use that money to go after his supporters.
What crime have his supporters committed? Are you suggesting that 74 million people committed a crime by voting for Trump? Is it consistent with American values to remove funds from a citizen without due process and then use those funds to persecute those you do not agree with because they voted for someone you do not like?

Insurrection and related crimes.

No. How in the universe did you come up with that wild speculation? Bizarre.

Yes, absolutely.

It happens often in our two tiered justice system. Reminds me of IG Horowitz, who after his investigation of the Russia Hoax wondered why all the 'mistakes' just happened to go against Trump.

Another example, a bunch of Biden scandals ignored by the media/dirty cop-DOJ/FBI complex:

Media and Biden administration cover up these three scandals in 'scandal-free' year

You really think Americans will put up with this corruption forever?

After we get EX President Trump and his enablers in orange jumpsuits, we can go after the lesser evils among the politicians.

Our two tiered justice system. Was Holder indicted for contempt like Steve Bannon was?

Did Congress refer Holder to the DOJ for prosecution? (See that's how it works for contempt of Congress.)

A year is early?

Early in their personal cases.

After arrest the defendant will appear before the magistrate judge (the next day or so) and they will make a ruling based on the information to detain the defendant prior to trial. The presumption under the federal Bail Reform Act is for release pending trial. If either party disagrees there can be a motion to release (or detain) covered by the judge a few weeks after release. (And for some defendants they have made multiple motions with new reasons or evidence each time.)

Most of the defendants are arrested under warrants based on affidavits from FBI agents without indictment. (A few are indicted first.) Indictments can come weeks or months later.

As for the investigation being a year old. Yes, that is fairly early in a large Federal criminal investigation. Expect arrests to continue for the next 4 years as the FBI gets more information including from cooperating defendants.

And the 1/16 Trump protesters who rioted and did $100K in damages did crimes too, those charges were dropped, why?

The Trump "protest" was on 1/6 not 1/16. Only one case (out of 700+) has been dropped. What are you talking about?

Yes, absolutely.
Does the absolute fact that not even one person has been charged with insurrection cause you to reconsider your conclusions? Bizarre indeed.

Why would it? Does it mean they are done? I didn't see the news that there are no more charges being brought against anyone anywhere for the insurrection. Can you provide for me where you saw that?

They started with the best cases they had, none of those best cases were charged with insurrection and if you read the law you would know why. What happened that day does not meet the necessary standards for that charge. Insurrection is just liberal hype for TV to influence those easily influenced.

That someone who was so squeeky clean as Trump was investigated (and still is being investigated) is beyond all human comprehension. Truthfull, virtuous, honest to a fault, compassionate, generous, loyal, trustworthy, intelligent, well read, a loving husband to three wives, humble...I could go on all day.
