Modern day systemic racism, does it exist?

Yep, that's the point. They are eligible, but are being denied. There are clearly other interests which are more profitable.
Thats not systemic racism, thats what banks do not what the system does. The system actually has laws against discrimination so I don't see how the system is to blame. What percentage of blacks are discriminated against? Obviously black people do get loans

No its not. Black people live in nice places. They are not all poor and from the hood. There are laws against discrimination. There is no systemic racism.
Laws get broken. People discriminate. Just because it doesn't happen 100% of the time doesn't mean it's not happening.

You don't seem to really understand what systemic racism is.

A lower income does not necessarily mean a lower standard of life. Someone with a lower income and a very poor standard of life in California can live with a pretty high standard of life with that same income somewhere else.

A person could make good money proving they'd been redlined.

Or you dont.
I know you are but what am I? Look it up sometime. You will see racism is real even though we have a civil rights law. It's not followed in many cases. It's hearts and minds, not just racist laws.

I've looked up the definition.

Black people get loans, cars and homes.. All you need is a good job and credit. You say they are being denied credit cause they are black?
There is systemic racism in credit scoring and lending practices

A recent investigation into the mortgage loan industry exposed the well-known systemic inequality embedded in America's credit reporting system.

Even if that's accurate, it's still not systemic racism within the government. There are laws against such discrimination. Why are they talking about it and not suing the part of the system responsible? Sounds like a good lawsuit. Sue the lenders.
and the article discusses that...which you would know if you had taken the time to actually read it rather than jump to out of hand denial.

Again, there are laws against discrimination. The system is not at fault if these things exist. Sue the lenders and those in charge of credit scores

and if you would have taken a minute to actually read the article you would learn how systemic discrimination takes place even with laws on the books.

What you don't understand is banks are a part of the system. You are proving you don't know what systemic racism actually is. Too bad for your argument. You should do more study on the subject instead of applying your own definition to terms you don't understand.

Its not systemic racism within the government. Also Asians do better than whites. If whites and blacks are both discriminated against how is it racism?
