Per what I have been told over and over here we should not be, it's only one person out of a 100. No big deal.

unless it was someone of your family, i doubt you would find it no big deal

At lest they would have only died and not suffered something really awful like job loss.

arrg my bust you meant what i said about jobless can be worse than death sometimes, having no job no income, living under a bridge or in the woods eating out of garbage cans drinking half empty water bottles, freezing at night when it cold out side, because they cant afford a dwelling.

See, I could take comfort in someone in my family avoiding that fate by the much more minor inconvenience of death.

but that usually is not the case after job loss, though surely there has people end their life because of job loss.

80% vaccination not high enough for herd immunity from COVID-Delta.

Due to it's transmissibility, COVID-Delta would require a immunization rate of 90% or more.

20% is still plenty people to infect ...

20% assumes that it's just the unvaccinated who can get Covid.

In this case "the science" is a cherry-picked view of one Harvard researcher.

Did we read different article links? The article cites "authors"!

Referring back to the posted article link: ""Pfizer director Rochelle Walensky"" said we see that the vaccinated can contract the infection symptomatically.

Rereading posted link:
The ""authors"" continue:

Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days. The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal. Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.

Of the top 5 counties that have the highest percentage of population fully vaccinated (99.9–84.3%), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identifies 4 of them as “High” Transmission counties. Chattahoochee (Georgia), McKinley (New Mexico), and Arecibo (Puerto Rico) counties have above 90% of their population fully vaccinated with all three being classified as “High” transmission. Conversely, of the 57 counties that have been classified as “low” transmission counties by the CDC, 26.3% (15) have percentage of population fully vaccinated below 20%.

It’s also important to keep in mind that when calculating the data, the """authors"""

Back to my point: If taking the mRNA vaccines don't stop the spread of the covid-19 virus. And these vaccines only provide temporary protection to the person the receives the shots. WHY all the punitive punishments (example: loss of one's livelihood/job) against those that choose not to participate in this experimental drug? People should be allowed to make their own decision (not be forced) to receive the shots.

I choose to get them (would recommend others do the same), I social distance (when possible) & ware a mask whenever out in public. I believe others should be allowed to make their own choices as well.

Sounds like a private employer wants to safeguard their workforce. That's their right, I believe ...
Safeguard their customers too.

If I were to ride in a plane, I'd prefer one where their employees are vaccinated.

so i guess your idea of death by a vaccine is quick and painless
730,000+ people in USA have died from Covid.
How many have died from the vaccine?

It seems that much more people in USA have taken the vaccine than have caught the disease.
It seems that a person taking the vaccine is much more likely to live than a person who has no Covid immunity that chooses not to take the vaccine.

Why? If vaccinated people can spread the virus as stated by Pfizer director Rochelle Walensky. What difference does it make if the person next to me on the plane is vaccinated or not?

Still cherry-picking, as the opinion of these few authors is contradicted by the vast majority of public health professionals that disagree with the conclusion.

Referring back to the posted article link: ""Pfizer director Rochelle Walensky"" said we see that the vaccinated can contract the infection symptomatically.
They can, but at roughly 1/11 the rate of the unvaccinated. That makes a big difference in the spreading of the disease.

Notably, Israel with ...... and Iceland and Portugal....Both countries have..... ....countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have......
This is but a retelling of the authors' flawed argument, which is flawed because it totally ignores other non-vaccine-related factors that affect transmission of the disease. Can you address my objection directly? Or are you just going to ignore it?

Back to my point: If taking the mRNA vaccines don't stop the spread of the covid-19 virus.....
If you replace the word "stop" by the word "suppress" or "reduce", your premise would be false, and so your conclusion is invalid.

Only as many as the CDC and MSM will allow you to know about. The rest are anecdotal, questionable, unscientific, conspiracy theories, attributed to some other cause, or the product of the imagination of anti-vaxxers.

One of the many mysteries of the modern age.
Get the shot so you can return to normal. But wear a mask so you don't transmit the disease that you're immune from getting in the first place. Then get a booster for the original shots that already give you a 95% chance of avoiding infection and 100% chance of avoiding death, even though plenty of people who are "fully vaccinated" (a soon to be redefined term) are dying of Covid.
