  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Last night I tried to watch WW1984 but it was way too boring so I had to give up. I might watch Tenet tonight again because it was very entertaining.

I watched it last week for the first time, and yeah - pretty average. And way too much SFX and throwing people around just for cool effects rather than as a logical part of the story.

Big brother: Australia :D

Why??? :)

I remember the first Big Brother - it was actually really interesting. The producers had no real idea what was going to happen, and neither did the contestants.

After that, it was just season after season of people going in to get famous and the usual boring "forced angst" from the show.

I never even heard of that piece of media.

It's a moderately successful comedy about a Korean family running a convenience store. Hardly groundbreaking but good fun if you need to kill half an hour. Probably bigger in Asian communities than the general population.

Are you kidding me, im not sure what season of big brother australia im watching but it has been freakin hilarious. It’s the season where Keiran is.
I enjoy those tasks they need to do and watching how people behave in different situations. How everyone has a different role in that group.
One of the episode was that they had to face their worst fear / phobia.
One woman was afraid of bubbles I mean bathbubbles or what it’s called? She had to stay in a little ”gingerdreadhouse” full of that bubblebath stuff and she was so hilarious but at the same time I felt bad for her to feel like that. Yes im huge big brother fan.

A thread to post what you are currently watching or plan to watch soon.

This is also a place to leave reviews of what you just watched if you so choose.

As for me I am currently watching The Pacific. Enjoying it thus far. A little more gruesome at times than I thought it would be. Cannot help but wonder what World War 2 was like for my grandfather. Although he was stationed in Europe. I do somewhat envy those who were able to live through such important times.

As for what I plan to watch soon.. probably Scanners.
You.

Insurgent. I actually enjoed this movie better than the Divergent. I would watch this movie again definetly. ”You are wrong, they are not the problem. They are the solution” what amazing quote. 5/5 movie I would say.

Youtube documentary on the ill-fated Imperial Russian Navy's 2nd Pacific Squadron in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904-5, and their eventful journey from their home port (Saint Petersburg) in an attempt to relieve the Japanese blockades of Port Arthur and Vladivostok (in the Pacific) that culminated in the only decisive battle between battleship fleets...
