  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hand count in audit affirms Biden beat Trump, as Maricopa County said in November

Many Americans differ with you,

Nope... Biden did indeed receive more votes.

fixing problems in elections so that one vote, and only one vote per qualified voter counts is essential to the future of our republic.

And in which part of the country has this "problem" been shown to even exist?

Biden is a globalist puppet. Like the hundreds of lawyers at election time 2020 that sought election law expansion in the courts in how ballots are accepted during covid, Biden is just a puppet among many...he just happens to have the label, "President," tie-dyed on his t-shirt so the masses keep it straight which puppet is doing what.
Yes, just like Trump. And a conservative also like Trump. Unlike Trump he does not seek popularity through playing to people's most negative emotions.

It’s always been the one person one vote. The Big Lie is that 2020 was affected by “widespread fraud”. The only “widespread fraud” in the 2020 Presidential election was the GOP candidate.

I saw that a lot on the left were pushing that "widespread fraud" story. Makes sense, fraud is a criminal offense and even if there were convictions in multiple states that would take years. There were many reports of state laws and rules broken and numerous incidents of wrongdoing in swing states. Those who are opposed to fairness and integrity can shout "no widespread fraud." It can be used as a fake reason to stop legitimate audits, just like Joe Biden claiming Haitians were "strapped" and that the people responsible would "pay" is a false cry in order to weaken border patrol even further.

There are many reports of alien abductions. Much like alien abductions actual evidence supporting these reports seems in short supply.

Convictions? Please provide an example of anyone charged with fraud, or even just any credible accusation of fraud towards any individual. Nb I mean a real example, not ‘somebody said so’. I’m aware of one example, a disgruntled postal worker who threw away some votes for a democrat candidate he didn’t like, what else do you have to back up your assertions of fraud? Surely you must have at least one example - otherwise your words are slanderous and defamatory gossip.

It can be used as a fake reason to stop legitimate audits,

What ‘legitimate audits’ have been stopped?

Not at all, there is a great deal of evidence in Michigan and Georgia. They better not try to block observers again, just like 9/11 they got away with it the first time.

Donald is "the Left" now?

There were many reports of state laws and rules broken and numerous incidents of wrongdoing in swing states.

How many of those "reports" stood up to scrutiny? Did any?

Those who are opposed to fairness and integrity can shout "no widespread fraud."

Actually, they shouted "Stop the Steal!"

It can be used as a fake reason to stop legitimate audits,

Actually, the legitimate audits were done, and confirmed President Biden's decisive victory.

Of course now the GOP wants illegitimate audits... and it turns out even they can't undo the election results.

No, there isn't which is why no one is taking those who claim there is seriously.

Is it so difficult to understand the difference between the lie ‘observers were blocked’ and the reality ‘some observers were removed’? When all those nuts were banging on the windows and waving signs about, there were already 134 pro-Trump observers in the room, primed to ‘challenge’ every bit of cardboard or movement of a ballot counter’s elbow. 134 was the maximum allowed for any one faction - at one point there were well over 200 Trump fans in there, doing their best to intimidate the poll workers. Get your facts straight, it’s not difficult.

OH NOES! The Illuminati has been foiled by YouTube yet again!
Oh no. ... Someone still thinks that YouTube is a platform for cat videos and skate board fails... And, doesn't understand that it is a platform for, among other things, live streams of government sessions.

If you want to dismiss the truth based on the media platform it is presented in, you are doomed to be ill informed.

I love the argument people have, when presented with a view contrary to their own.. to dismiss it because "YouTube". Time to get out of the year 2000. That was 20 years ago.

At least the media in another country, outside the propaganda riddled main stream of the US, got it right:

So Trump was right: the election was rigged. And our next one will be too | Comment | The Sunday Times

The journalist is Rod Liddle and he is obviously not a fan of Trump. The article is quite a window into the view of other countries from outside the smoke screen of the media from within.

I think you may have misunderstood the article - the writer isn't claiming the election was rigged in anything like the sense of there having been any kind of fraud, but that the removal of Trump from Twitter and the management of the worst of the right-wing misinformation sites was tantamount to a kind of election rigging. Clearly this is a matter of opinion, but you appear to be presenting it as fact. It most certainly isn't 'a window into the view of other countries' but a representation of one man's opinion.

Personally, I think Twitter's decision to limit the range of Trump's constant stream of lies was solid, and a person only has to spend a few hours on this site to see that people will believe literally anything they find on YouTube etc, so the sites who publish that info have every right to be concerned about hosting it. Doubtless you disagree, but these are matters of opinion, not fact.

And they're already demanding another audit... As much as I enjoy seeing Donald fail -- again and again and again -- I'd be pretty cheesed if I had to foot the bill for it.

True -- on a strictly emotional level, I can appreciate any attempt to stuff a ball gag in Donald's mouth, but I wouldn't condone such an action without sufficient cause...

... Which Donald was considerate enough to amply provide.

If "they" refers to Kelly Ward (Republican party chair person), I doubt such calls will go anywhere. She has managed to lose two Senate seats and the presidential race - twice!

....such a winning record.

Considering her role model/hero, who's surprised?
