  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Mandate vaccination. If you don't get the vaccination you have to sign a waiver to not be admitted to a hospital. You don't trust doctors when they tell you to get vaccinated, you don't need to trust them to care for you when it comes back to bite you.
Why would the unvaccinated sign the waiver? Mandated vaccinations are unethical in my opinion. Why not convince people that it is the best option instead of trying to force them to take it. What if in the future the government wants to put something in your body you don't want?

You have to sign a waiver for a good many things in life particularly as it relates to certain dangerous activities and even certain medical issue that is why they make the risks very clear of certain operations.

Weird how no one I know was charged for this and I'm almost certain any money that was used to fund the research was private sector money, so that's just the free market. You're not a communist are you?

And "guinea pig" is an appeal to fear for people who can't confront their insecurities in a rational way, creating a cult of followers that ironically claim they're NOT sheep
You think that the pharmaceutical companies are doing all of this for free?

Because 1/4th of the US population believe that the earth is flat and was created 6000 years ago.

That does not answer the question why someone would waive away their medical rights if they were unvaccinated. That is dumb.

That is not an answer. We don't force people to take things into their bodies because they don't have the ability to have good evidence based beliefs.

The federal government. The Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA). This requires stabilizing medical treatment for anyone that comes to an emergency room regardless of ability to pay.

There is also rationing of health care when decisions must be made about who deserves resources someone's choice to take a vaccine should playa role in that.moreover stable means just that that is not taking up a bed for days just because you do not want to die. One can be in stable condition and still be unwell.

We don't? So we don't put fluoride in our water? We don't require vaccinations prior to overseas travel? Seems we do this quiet a lot.

Why? Should a heart patient get treatment before a Covid patient because they smoked and ate fast food their entire lives? Or how about an drug overdose patient, should they be denied healthcare because of their poor decision? Seems like an order of bad decisions needs to be made so we can be consistent. Or maybe lets try to treat all the sick no matter their choices.

I don't have to drink the water, I don't have to travel. Not the same thing.

I like what one comedian said about "pharmaceutical companies". You never trusted them before but NOW there ok. Sorry there was much more to that... it was cool to watch someone on the left saying this.

Yes... most are just sheep.. they don't question being told what to do. Just like the avengers Loki: [to crowd] Kneel before me. I said… KNEEL! Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It’s the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life’s joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel."

The day when those other types of people are flooding the hospital needing treatment all at the same time to the point that other people cannot get treated on time I will agree with you.
