"The implications of saying “God looks into the future to determine who will believe in Him”, is devastating. It implies God doesn’t know all things, and need to look into the future to learn who will believe in Him or not. This is calling God a liar when the Bible clearly is teaching us God knows all things." -JesusFreak78

"In praying for His enemies not only did Christ set before us a perfect example of how we should treat those who wrong us an hate us, but He also taught us never to regard any as beyond the reach of prayer." -Arthur W. Pink.

"You may say, 'God doesn't hate anybody. God is love.' No, my friend. You need to understand something. Jesus Christ taught, the prophets taught, the apostles taught this: that apart from the grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ our Lord the only thing left for you is the wrath, the fierce anger of God because of your rebellion and your sin." -Paul Washer.

"People say the cross is a sign of how much man is worth. That’s not true. The cross is a sign of how depraved we really are, that it took the death of God’s own Son. The only thing that could save a people like us was the death of God’s own Son under the wrath of His own Father paying the price, rising again from the dead. Powerful to say, this is the Gospel of Jesus." -Paul Washer.

A new generation now drifts without purpose and vision, with little confidence that they have a future, leaving us vulnerable to a growing religious mission of state power and authority that sees its total regulation in control as the only solution to a collapsing social order. Joseph Boot, The mission of God: a manifesto of hope for society.

"Oh, that God would raise up missionaries. I don't wish the same things your parents want for you. They want for you security and insurance and nice homes. They want for you cars and respect. I want for you the same thing I want for my son, that one day he takes a banner, the banner of Jesus Christ, and he places it on a hill where no one has ever placed a banner before, and he cries out, 'Jesus Christ is Lord,' even if it costs my son his life." -Paul Washer.

"Faith endures as seeing Him who is invisible (Heb. 11:27); endures the disappointments, the hardships, and the heart-aches of life, by recognizing that all comes from the hand of Him who is too wise to err and too loving to be unkind." -Arthur W. Pink.

"Because he is; that is, because he is an infinitely glorious, good, wise, holy, powerful, righteous, self-subsisting , self-sufficient , and all-sufficient being; the fountain and author of all being and good; the first cause, last end, and sovereign Lord of all; therefore, he is to be worshipped: therefore, are we to admire, adore, and love him; to praise, to trust and to fear him." -John Owen.

Jesus (being the crazy Calvinist he is) answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
Curious, if it's automatic, how is it work?

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

It is God working in the believer giving them the will and the way to do His will.

So if it's rendered as "my work" then it's a gift since God is doing it?
