How do you define it? Why would you call yourself Charismatic? Do you view it as a denomination?

A spirit filled Christian. Be blessed. How do you define it? Why would you call yourself Charismatic? Do you view it as a denomination?
I met a self-identifying Charismatic Catholic at Ollie's one time. She was very friendly. We have a growing charismatic ministry in the Catholic church. I am a Charismatic because i believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit. His gifts, His fruits and His power

How do you see your belief differing from the general Catholic belief in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit?
Without the additional denomination, a non-denom or similar was implied like Vineyard or Foursquare. Most AoGs that I have been to have a similar feel, though they are usually classified as "Pentecostal."Most Christians originally used "charismatic" as an additive to what they already were. For example, a Baptist would still believe Baptist doctrine, but yet now they believe in the spiritual gifts, so they're Charismatic Baptist now. That's what John Osteen was for years. The Lakewood Church was initiated as a Charismatic Baptist church. It's just a charismatic church now.
I'm not sure that most of those people are functioning effectively. What do we do that distinguishes us from the world, I mean that really shows us as different? Even the charismatics are far too influenced by cessationist teaching, and the resulting systemic unbelief, otherwise we would believe and set the world on fire.Charismatics believe the gifts (charisma) , fruit, and offices of the Spirit, such as prophesy, teaching, helps, healing, giving, mercy, et cetera, are still in operation among the faithful (see: Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, 1 Corinthians 12:28-30, Ephesians 4:11, 1 Peter 4:11).
No, it's not a denomination. Roman Catholics, for instance, believe the charisma are still in operation.
Personally, I can't understand how people who do not believe the charisma are still operating can themselves function effectively as Christians.
The AG continues to reinstate that the initial evidence of the baptism with the Holy Ghost is speaking in other tongues, which is the Biblical experience.Without the additional denomination, a non-denom or similar was implied like Vineyard or Foursquare. Charisma is derived from the Greek word for "gift." English adopted the word charisma from it's biblical meaning. Biblically, charisma is a gift. A spiritual charisma is a gift from the Holy Spirit.According to google:
How do you explain charisma?
The word charisma refers to a rare trait found in certain human personalities usually including extreme charm and a "magnetic" quality of personality or appearance along with innate and powerfully sophisticated personal communicability and persuasiveness; in short, charisma is often used to describe a seemingly uncanny person.
But to me charisma is a heart thing ... if Jesus lives in your heart for real morning, noon and night then you can be a Baptist or a Catholic or the normal definition due to spiritual gifts is
Pentecostal
I have seen all three, but only in church and fellowship ... I have no way of knowing how they wake up or what they are going through (after all we aren't suppose to judge them anyway)
It is a blessing to serve the Lord knowing He is in you at all times in the rough times and in the good times.
I am charismatic, I speak in tongues, I serve Him with a whole heart, I believe even when it seems impossible (at least for me) I do have some faith problems believing for others to be healed, but that is normal.
