Hopefully we can work on that again. Since a ultra right Republican isn't the president.

Michelle Obama didn't fail. Trump, ultra right Conservatives Christians and media didn't like idea. That a Democrat came up with the idea. So they complained about it , and overaerated about it. And brained washed people to believe it was bad. All Trump or any president had to do was improve it. And encourage healthy life style.

It totally failed. But we aren't harping on it four years later.

And this thread isn't about Michelle or Melania. It's about Bidens promise to cure cancer. What is he doing special that no one else did or tried?

Over exaggeration much. I blame the Conservative Christians, That had so much hate in their heart. Because a Democrat women, that was married to Obama . Tried to make kids lunch healthier. And tried to teach kids and grown-ups a healthier life style. Because of this hate, people allowed the right media to lie and brained wash Trump and other people to believe Michelle Obama trying to get school lunches to be healthy and get Americans health was a bad idea. Trump got rid of Michelle's healthier lunch. Got rid of the garden, that could have taught people healthy life styles. So he did nothing to help with Americans having healthy lifestyles at all. He'll do better job trying. Then Trump or people that don't care about people at all.

LOL. If kids got thinner it was because they hated the food they got and didn't eat. I have kids and grandkids in school and they hate their lunches. They never eat it all cause it's terrible. I actually went to the school and are with them one day. The food was aweful. Oh it may have have been healthy, but it was terrible food. Yuck! I didn't eat it all either. I watched as kids threw half if it away. No wonder they are starving when they come home.

If having s a son that is afflicted by something makes on optimistic about curing that thing, he should be optimistic about making a difference in the war against drug addiction and the war against influence pedaling.

Kids have always hated school lunches. If those kids a skinnier for not eating then chances are good that they weren't really hungry. That is far preferable to their wolfing down sugar and fat laden junk just because it tastes good.

Shame on Michelle Obama for not coming to your school to personally supervise the menu.

I’ve been out of school for almost 15 years now so I can’t speak to what they have now but I can’t think of any time in my life when school lunch was some delicious feast that all the kids enjoyed equally. This country has never prioritized nutrition for not just kids but for anyone and it’s a huge disservice we’re doing by not investing more into our children’s school lunches and breakfast.

Is that how you honestly see a conservative Christians? What do you think the response would be if I posted a picture of a gay pride parade full of drag Queens and men in gimp suits and stated "Have you seen liberal Christians today?" Do you think that would be received well? Do you think liberal Christians would laugh it off and move on? To clarify, I do not believe liberal Christians are synonymous to gay pride debauchery. I am just trying to provide a suitable example.

More like you have a nation full of kids who have grown up eating wildly unhealthy food that will result in their deaths likely coming at an earlier age than their parents. A genuine disaster for America's future. Yet the first person who tries to do something about it instead gets constant abuse and the kids are just shown that if they rebel their weak parents will immediately roll over and continue giving them the junk food that is killing them.

You make a good point about parents being weak and allowing their children to do ridiculously harmful things to themselves and society. Perhaps this explains why we have the Biden administration which is seemingly very opposed to personal responsibility even in adults, never mind in children? It could be that those same parents that were so weak in demanding personal responsibility saw someone of like mind in Biden and voted for him?

From my point of view parents that expect schools to make sure their child is properly nourished rather than themselves making sure of it are hardly likely to be high in the personal responsibility department themselves. Expecting irresponsible people to teach personal responsibility is not a realistic expectation.

My post was not aimed at Michele Obama if that is what you perceived but at the poster that did not care if children went home hungry from school because they could not find food at school that was in the least bit appetizing to them. Most likely they dislike the "healthy food" more because it is poorly prepared than because they are rebellious swine who have been spoiled rotten. But the latter could be the case or a combination of both.
