Really? I've heard atheists say they would not believe in God even if he came down and talked to them. That's a pretty serious stance to take, where you won't even listen to your senses if they tell you something you don't like.
LOL! That's just a taunt.

Like? I only quoted what the Bible says about atheists. That's not my judgment, it's God's. I tend to get along with most people I meet, whatever they happen to believe.
Quoting the Bible is not a "get out of jail free" card.

I'm not in jail.
A "get out of jail free card" is merely a metaphor for not taking responsibility for one's own statements or actions. It does not imply that you are in an actual jail.

And why would you judge me? Why would you expect me to make fun of certain people groups?
1) I used the modifier "likely" based on a host of your previous comments and conservative religious opinions. I would be pleased to be wrong.
2) Dawkins did not poke fun at LGBT and transgendered people he made "demeaning" remarks about them.

In any case, this thread is about falsification of abiogenesis and the theory of evolution, not Dawkins.
That won't happen in this dispensation.

You probably misunderstood or misremembered what they said. Did they say that they would not believe or did they say that they would not worship? The former would be irrational thinking. And atheists, unlike creationists, do not tend to use irrational thinking. The latter shows that they are ethical.

Such as? He obviously didn't say it was a sin.

That they would not believe....that they would think they were having a hallucination of some sort.

Yeah I get that.
I have no problem taking responsibility for my statements.

That is not all that unreasonable either. They have been many cases of crazy people that have "seen God". If you ever talked with them you would probably say "That is not my God". Take David Koresh for example. He went one step beyond that. I would like to hear the claims in context.

I have not. Indeed I have heard the exact opposite. If God, or Elf, or Unicorn, came down and talked to me, I would seriously consider the very good likelihood that they were real. As would any atheist.

It certainly would be. And so far the only people who have taken it, seem to be religious fundamentalists.

But I would still entertain the possibility that it was an hallucination, even as a theist.

Seems like people in the Bible who God sent angels to, had a very different reaction...If God spoke to you or sent an angel, you would be on your knees. There would be no 'Oh, maybe this is just a reaction to the pizza I had last night.'

you have no idea of the initial thoughts of any of those people before they accepted the vision as real
