Please go back to what I said in my previous comment, "there are different ways of stating things."
I know what you said.

And I consider that an affront to God.

God does not, nor has He ever, evolved.

In any sense of the word.

Its very clear from history that our ideas about god(s) have changed considerable through time.

In your opinion.
I think if you had it on a grammar test ... even in college ... you would change your tune.

Well, college? maybe not.

But in high school ... probably.

In my opinion.

I am sorry you took it that way. Have you considered that the word "evolve" carries a negative connotation for you but may be neutral to others? Now that I know that is the case I will be careful on how I use it in future comments.

Why indulge someone in their prejudices?

Please don't do it just for me, Frank.

Do it for God.

It's not a core doctrine. Of course there's disagreement.
I make no claims on what is core or not. I explained that it was something that I learned in a Catholic school years ago. It surprised me when you expressed unawareness of the spacetime concept so I researched it and found that AIG along with other creationists apologetic organizations have a similar understanding of spacetime as Catholics. I am not claiming you have to agree as we both know that Christians have differences.

I am aware of it. It's been the predominant view for a long time. I said it wasn't universally agreed on within Christianity.
CS Lewis pictured God as outside of Time, seeing all events at once.
Of course the major problem with this, is that Jesus entered time and space physically. We could ask how he could be both human and have all knowledge about everything. Or we could just appeal that to the mystery of the incarnation.

But it's probably off topic anyway.

It may be off-topic but it is interesting. There was recent discussion at Peace Science on the dual nature of Christ.
