Whoever is making decisions like this at Amazon.
They aren't banning anything. They are not the government and they don't have to sell any particular book. Vote with your keyboard and buy elsewhere.

On 2012 The Lorax was released; A movie based on the book of the same name. Conservatives jumped all over it calling Seuss work "insidious propaganda".

These are some of the same people who called Mr. Rogers an "evil man" because he committed the egregious sin of making children feel good about themselves.

Their concern about Dr Seuss is about as genuine as sales pitches from Primerica that you'll make millions selling to friends and family.

"Their concern" isn't what got Dr. Seuss books banned.

I guess it’s similar to kneeling for the national anthem. Conservatives will prattle on about the rights we have in this country, just make sure you never use them. These companies have a right to decide what they produce and sell, they just shouldn’t exercise that right.

"These companies" are the ones who go along with the leftist government propaganda. Those that don't follow in those same footsteps aren't even allowed to be open. That's one way the government can violate the constitution--by mandating businesses to do it in order to stay in business.

Wake me up when they go to ban the Bible, or Orwell and/or Huxley.

It wouldn't take much for them to ban the bible:

"Male and Female, He created them" is not LGBT friendly.
"No one comes to the Father but by Me" is not inclusive.
"He who believes not is condemned already" is inflammatory.

Are you implying that the government ordered the owners of the Seuss copyright to stop allowing publishers to publish six of their books?

Maybe the owners of the Seuss copyrights are simply "leftist" themselves. What makes you think Jeff Bezos isn't simply a "leftist" himself?

It would explain why he would be so willing to go along with the leftist government's actions.

It seems a lot of right-wing Evangelicals were more than happy to go along with whatever Trump suggested, including storming the Capitol...which they claim in court he told them to do.

Controversial ‘Lorax’ a threat to Dr. Seuss legacy?
But no mention of the left's 'concerns, correct?
Liberal Mother Jones blogger Kate Sheppard wrote that environmentalists were “having a (rather justified) heart attack about the fact that ‘The Lorax’ is now being used to cross-promote a new SUV.” Mazda was using the movie to sell the new Seussified CX-5. One commercial featured a cartoon version of this SUV driving through a grove of Truffula trees. “The ads claim that the car is ‘Truffula tree friendly’ whatever that is supposed to mean,” she complained.

The film, she wrote, “includes a musical number … about how capitalism is awesome and everyone needs a Thneed,”

It doesn't surprise me that anarchists such as BLM infiltrators would say such a thing.
