Trying to be faithful to the Great Fast. I have a pretty good idea of what I can eat and what I can't after years of checking out labels on containers, however, this year I got a bit of a surprise.
The baked clams I love have milk in them. Some of the shrimp dinners have milk in them (what the heck???). I bought some Morningstar Farms faux sausage (ugh!) to try and when I got home, it said "May have milk ingredients"
GOOD GRIEF!!!!
How do you guys (especially you, Father Matt) handle this? Do you not sweat the details or are you very precise in reading labels and avoiding anything make with milk or eggs as an ingredient.
Sheeeeesh!!!!
