1. NO ONE/NOTHING BEFORE GOD

3. DO NOT USE GOD'S NAME IN VAIN

OLD TESTAMENT REFERENCE: Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain. (Exodus 20:7)

4. REMEMBER THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH TO KEEP IT HOLY

OLD TESTAMENT REFERENCE: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day; wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." (Exodus 20:8-11)

NEW TESTAMENT REFERENCES: "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day." (Matthew 12:8; Luke 6:5) [So the Sabbath is the TRUE Lord's Day]

it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. (Matthew 12:12)

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day (Luke 4:16)

(Jesus) taught them on the sabbath days. (Luke 4:31)

AFTER JESUS' DEATH, HIS DISCIPLES OBSERVED THE SABBATH:

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment." (Luke 23:55-56) [ This occured after Jesus' death obviously, which is when the false teachers claim the law was done away. They say the law was "nailed to the cross", but His disciples obviously didn't believe that, as we see here, they "rested the Sabbath day according to the commandment"]

when they (the apostles) departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day." (Acts 13:14)

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath." (Acts 13:42) [Notice: the Gentiles (non-jews) wanted to hear the word of God on the next Sabbath. Paul DID NOT tell them, "Come back tomorrow, the first day of the week, because that's the day us Christians keep." He had them return the following SABBATH]

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. (Acts 13:44)

For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. (Acts 15:21)

And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made. (Acts 16:13)

And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures. (Acts 17:2)

And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. (Acts 18:4)

For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. (Hebrews 4:4) [See Ephesians 5:1 where it states that we are to be imitators of God.]

There remaineth therefore a SABBATH Rest [See margin: Greek word is "Sabbatismos" which means "Sabbath-keeping"] to the people of God." (Hebrews 4:9)

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD." (Isaiah 66:22-23) [I realize this is an OT scripture, BUT as you can clearly see here, this is dealing with the NEW heavens and earth (after Christ's return) and it states that ALL shall keep the Sabbath then.

It seems quite preposterous, that God would give the seventh day Sabbath to mankind at creation (Genesis 2:1-3), re-introduce it to Israel BEFORE Sinai - after they lost sight of it in captivity (Exodus 16:4-23; 27-29), codify it at Sinai (Exodus 20:1-17) having all His people observe it, including Christ, then change it to Sunday, just to change it back to Friday sunset - Saturday sunset.

THE SABBATH HAS NEVER CHANGED AND IS STILL TO BE OBSERVED!

If I may, the following verse is a command. Pray in the Greek is being spoken in the Imperative Mood.
Mood-Imperative

The imperative mood corresponds to the English imperative, and
expresses a command to the hearer to perform a certain action
by the order and authority of the one commanding. Thus,
Jesus' phrase, "Repent ye, and believe the gospel" Mr 1:15
is not at all an "invitation, " but an absolute command
requiring full obedience on the part of all hearers.

Here is the verse.

Matt 24:20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.

What is interesting as you know, this is being spoken to the Apostles. And the event that is being prophesied was the attack of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Temple. This did not happen until 70 AD as you are aware. It would be quite the confusing thing to say if Jesus did not expect the Apostles and His disciples to still be keeping the Sabbath. And Jesus as you know is not the author of confusion.

God’s 10 commandments were written on tables of stone the book being referred to here is the Mosiac book of the covenant *Exodus 24:7. God’s 10 commandments do not talk about the coming of the Messiah. The Levitical Priesthood, Sanctuary laws for remission of sins * John 1:29; Hebrews 7:1-28; Hebrews 8:1-13; Hebrews 9:1-28 and Hebews 10:1-15 and the annual Feast days are the laws that point to JESUS as the coming Messiah! *Leviticus 23. Nothing in the 10 commandments referred to the coming of the Messiah. – Twelve down

Acts 15 has nothing to do with anyone of God’s 10 commandments. It is over the question “Is the shadow law of CIRCUMCISION from the law of Moses (not God’s 10 commandments) a requirement for salvation. This was the question that Paul and Barnabas went to Jerusalem to discuss. Lets look at the scriptures

ACTS 15:1:21

[1], And certain men who came down from Judea taught the brethren, and said, EXCEPT YOU BE CIRCUMCISED AFTER THE MANNER OF MOSES YOU CANNOT BE SAVED.

NOTE: ACTS 15:1 is the question that needs to be answered and the topic of conversation and CONTEXT of the chapter of ACTS 15. Here we have Jewish believers coming to Paul and Barnabas saying if the new GENTILES believers are not circumcised and made proselytes then they cannot be saved. This is the chapter context and issue of contention.

[2], When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, THEY DETERMINED THAT PAUL AND BARNABAS AND CERTAIN OF THEM SHOULD GO UP TO JERUSALEM UNTO THE APOSTLES AND ELDERS ABOUT THIS QUESTION.

NOTE: ACTS 15:2 Which question? Weather your salvation depends on being CIRCUMCISED.

They then traveled to Jerusalem about this question to determine if new gentile believers needed to be CIRCUMCISED in order to be saved. Once they got to Jerusalem, the question was then asked and the discussion continued with the Pharisees stating their case first..

[5], But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying, It is needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

NOTE: KEEP in mind here the question was never over if gentile believers should obey God's 10 Commandments but to keep the Shadow laws of Moses, in this case CIRCUMCISION as a means of salvation. CIRCUMCISION is from the law of MOSES not God’s 10 Commandments written by God on two tables of stone.

[6], And the apostles and elders came together TO CONSIDER THIS MATTER.

NOTE: Again the topic of discussion and chapter CONTEXT that is being considered is the question stated in ACTS 15:1 which was IS CIRCUMCISION A REQUIREMENT OF SALVATION?

[7], And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, you know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

[8], And God, who knows the hearts, bore them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;

NOTE: After much discussion between the Apostles, Peter then rose up showing that God gave the gentile believers the Holy Spirit being UNCIRCUMCISED.

[9], And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
[10], Now therefore why test God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
[11]But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

NOTE: They came to the conclusion then that salvation is not by being circumcised but be what circumcision pointed to. A new heart by faith. This is made plain latter in other scripture written by PAUL here...

ROMANS 2 [25] For circumcision verily profits, if you keep the law: but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision is made uncircumcision. [26], Therefore if the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? [27], And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision do transgress the law? [28], FOR HE IS NOT A JEW, WHO IS ONE; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OF THE OUTWARD FLESH: [29], BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; AND CIRCUMCISION IS THAT OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT AND NOT IN THE LETTER; WHOSE PRAISE IS NOT OF MEN BUT OF GOD.

If ACTS 15 was talking about the 10 Commandments then Paul's writings in to the CORINTHIANS do not make any sense and makes Paul a hypocrite which we know he is not.

1 CORITHIANS 7 [19] CIRCUMCISION IS NOTHING, AND UNCIRCUMCISION IS NOTHING, BUT THE KEEPING OF THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.

As shown through the scriptures alone, Acts 15 has nothing to do with God’s commandments. In fact after the Jerusalem decision Paul is saying to the Corinthian believers “Circumcision is nothing (the result of the meeting of Jerusalem) that is the Mosaic shadow law of CIRCUMCISION is not a requirement for salvation. BUT, according to Paul the KEEPING OF THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD is important.

Can you see a pattern here dear friend with your interpretation of the scriptures? – Thirteen down

This for some reason seems to be a confusing passage of scripture for some but it is not difficult if we follow context and what Paul has already stated in other passages. This scripture actually has nothing to do with God’s 10 commandments being abolished. That is a false teaching and contradicts what Paul says in other scriptures. The ministration of death is the penalty for sin (death). The wages of sin is death according to Paul but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS Christ *Romans 6:23. It is the ministration of condemnation (death) that is done away with not God's 10 commandments that Paul says are Holy Just and Good in Romans 7:12. The ministration of condemnation is done away in Christ because he paid the price for our sins and those who believe are made free to walk in God’s Spirit.

If we walk in God’s Spirit however we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh according to Galatians 5:16. In fact if we walk in God’s Spirit God’s law is established in us because of God’s forgiveness for our sins and the scriptures are fulfilled in Romans 8:1-4 [1], THERE IS THEREFORE NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THEM WHICH ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.[2], For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. [3], For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4], THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW MIGHT BE FULFILLED IN US, WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT.

So your interpretation of 2 Corinthians 3:7 that God’s law has been abolished is a false one dear friend. It is the ministration of condemnation and sins penalty that has been abolished in those who believe and follow God’s Word.

CONCLUSION: So as can be shown above an interpretation of 2 CORINTHIANS 3:7 that God’s 10 commandments are abolished has PAUL contradicting himself in ROMANS 3:31. The correct context of 2 Corinthians 3:7 is the ministration of condemnation that is to be abolished by the ministration of the Spirit as shown in 2 Corinthians 3:3-13. So nope not saying what you are dear friend. Your interpretation of 2 Corinthians 3:7 has Paul contradicting himself when he says In Romans 3:31 Do we then make (G2673) abolish the law through faith? Just because Saturday is still the Sabbath day, it does not mean that the command to keep the Saturday Sabbath is still in effect (Especially in light of Colossians 2:14-17).
Repetition, this has already been address and shown to be a false interpretation of the scriptures. Colossians 2:14-17 is talking about the laws in ordinance (dogma; a law that is civil, ceremonial of ecclesiastical). These were in reference to the shadow laws of the old covenant as previously discussed in *Ephesians 2; Hebrews 7:1-28; Hebrews 8:1-13; Hebrews 9:1-28 and Hebews 10:1-15. Colossians 2:16 is in reference to the annual Feast days which are he shadow laws that point to JESUS as the coming Messiah! *Leviticus 23. Plus, Matthew 24:20 was said to those who were in Judaea (See: Matthew 24:16). They were to flee to the mountains if they were in this region. This means they are predominantly Jewish people who regard the Saturday Sabbath (and yet they rejected their own Messiah). So at this point in the Olivet discourse, it is not referring to Gentile believers spread across the globe but to the Jewish people who are stuck in the Old Covenant system, and thus, they would recognize the Sabbath day. Matthew 24:20 is not commanding us to keep the Sabbath. It is merely recognizing a calendar day as being the Sabbath; But it's not a command. In order for it to be a command, it should say: “But pray that your flight be not in winter, neither on the sabbath day (which is an eternal command of God for all men to keep).” But it doesn't say that. So you are seeing something in this verse that it does not specifically say.

Luke 23:55-56 is just presenting to us the facts of what was happening. The gospel writer Luke is not saying, “Thou shalt keep the Saturday Sabbath.” Luke is just presenting us the narrative of what is going on. These women were not teaching how we must keep the Sabbath as a part of the New Covenant teachings. Pentecost did not even happen yet. They only did what they have known from before. The women did not know about the change of the Law yet or the teaching by Paul in Colossians 2 that came later. They did not even know that the Gentiles would be later included in God's plan yet. For example: If you were to read in the Old Testament, you can read about lots of commands. But that does not mean you believe that the commands in the Torah on animal sacrifices and the priesthood are still in effect. But if we were to read how if somebody kept these commands after the cross, it does not mean they are acting in accordance with God's New Covenant program, though. This is the same argument you are trying to make with this women obeying the Sabbath before even Pentecost happened. God did not immediately give these women new Covenant teachings to follow Him perfectly after the cross. Certain messengers like Paul were selected instead. For Paul would be the one who would write the majority of the New Testament we have. It was not these women who would write the New Testament so as to teach us. In fact, Jesus told Mary not to touch Him because he needed to ascend to the Father. This shows that they are not perfectly in tune with God's new program in what was going on yet.
What you did not say here and I guess you missed the point on why this scriptures was posted in regards to Luke 23:55-56 or Matthew 28:1 was that at no stage did any of the disciples or Apostles believe that Gods’ 4th commandments seventh day Sabbath was to be abolished after the death of JESUS. Now we have already provided the scriptures showing the it was the custom of both JESUS and Paul after the death and resurrection to keep the Sabbath. We are told that both JESUS and Paul were our examples and they kept the Sabbath.

Not a single Apostle of disciple broke the Sabbath. JESUS taught his disciples and Apostles it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath and that he was Lord or creator of the Sabbath day, yet at no point in the life of JESUS do we see him telling the apostles or the apostles telling us that God’s 4th commandment Sabbath of the 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken has been abolished and we are now commanded to the man made traditions of Sunday worship as a holy day? The command to the Corinthians in 1 Corinthians 16 to gather the collection on the first day of the week did not happen until Acts 18. Also, Acts 20 records Christians gathering on the first day of the week (Which would naturally follow Acts 18 per Paul's command). So things were progressively changing. The change of the New Covenant way and it's teachings did not happen overnight. It was a gradual change. New Testament canon of Scripture was being formed at this time. Anyways, the apostles and Gentiles gathering on Sabbath in the synagogue does not mean that the Saturday Sabbath command was in effect after the cross. The apostles did not command the Gentiles to keep the Saturday Sabbath. In fact, they had a great opportunity to bring up the Sabbath command at the Jerusalem council in Acts of the Apostles 15. But they said that the Gentiles did not have to be circumcised and to keep the Law of Moses. Acts of the Apostles 13:39 says we cannot be justified by keeping the Law of Moses (Which means the Law of Moses is no longer in effect). In Acts 15, the Gentiles were not told to keep the Sabbath command, but they were stressed to... Abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication (Acts of the Apostles 15:29).

Now let’s look at what the scripture actually says instead of trying to read our interpretation into the scripture. Firstly lets look at 1 Corinthians 16:1-5 collectively...

1 Corinthians 16:1-5 [1], NOW CONCERNING THE COLLECTION FOR THE SAINTS, AS I HAVE GIVEN ORDER TO THE CHURCHES OF GALATIA, EVEN SO DO YOU. Note: So the chapter context is "concerning the collection of the saints" Paul is giving the same orders as he gave those in Galatia (v1). On the first day of the week (Sunday) let everyone lay by himself in store as God has prospered because or the reason being for this order that there be no money collections when Paul arrives (v2). The reason was that Paul was passing through on His way to Jerusalem (v3-4)

The sections of 1 Corinthians 16:2 are broken down into context order within the scripture for discussion here as marked above in the last two parallel scripture examples above.

So the command given by Paul for the collection of the saints here is that {1} on the first day of the week (every Sunday) let every person {2} lay by him in store - The Greek being παρ ̓ ἑαυτῷ τιθέτω θησαυρίζων par' heautō tithetō thēsaurizōn. Meaning let him lay up at home (by himself), treasuring up as he has been prospered. The Greek phrase, "by himself," means, the same as at home. Let him set it apart by himself at home; let him designate a certain portion; let him do this by himself, when he is at home. Let him set it aside and put it in store, separate it and save it up, as God hath prospered him - The word "God" is not in the original, but it is evidently understood, and necessary to the sense. The word rendered "hath prospered" (εὐοδῶται euodōtai)

Now note the reason here for this command within the scripture is given in the same verse in the last section of the scripture {3} That there be no gatherings when I come - No collections λογίαι logiai, 1 Corinthians 16:1). The apostle means that there should be no trouble in collecting the small sums; that it should all be prepared; that each one might have laid by what he could give; and that all might be ready to be handed over to him, or to whomsoever they might choose to send with it to Jerusalem.

CONCLUSION: As shown in the context of 1 Corinthians 16:1-5 and in the within scripture context, 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 was a command given by Paul for the collection of the saints that every man was to put aside money as God had prospered him at home by himself on the first day of the week (Sunday). It was not a Church gathering it was a command to put money aside at home or alone so that when Paul was passing through he could collect all the money on his way to Jerusalem. There is absolutely - nothing, in these scriptures that says Sunday is a Holy day or that God's 4th commandment Sabbath has been abolished is there? It is talking about the ceremonial Sanctuary laws for remission of sins and sin offerings and the laws of the Leviticual Priesthood that pointed to the the work and mediation of JESUS as our now great high Priest in the heavenly Sanctuary not made with hands and a better covenant for remission of sins. No more ceremonial laws (ordinances for remission of sins) and sin offerings, Levitical Priesthood or earthly Sanctuary which was only a copy of the heavenly. – Nineteen down
We have to understand the early church was still learning and growing about God's New Covenant program still. We learn in Acts 21 that Paul was warned by the Holy Spirit not to go to Jerusalem. Yet, Paul wanted to see his fellow Israelites saved because he loved them very much (Romans 9:3). So he went anyways. But he paid the price for this mistake in not heeding the warning of the Spirit to not go to Jerusalem. Paul ended up going back to old ways of the Law in attempting to go through with a purification rite of the Law of Moses, but God stopped him by having him arrested. This led to his time of being a captive and in prison. So when James says that Moses has from old time preached in every city that preach him on the sabbath day, he was not fully aware of all the changes in God's New Covenant program yet. Paul penned the letter to the Colossians when he was imprisoned by the Romans (Which was long after the Jerusalem council event in Acts 15). Colossians 2:14-17 is the key set of verses that makes it clear that the Saturday Sabbath command is no longer (Note: This would not be the end of the Saturday being the Sabbath, it would simply mark the end of the Sabbath command). Paul made it really clear. There was nothing for him to lose at this point in his life. So the truth came out.

This was merely an evangelistic effort by Paul to reach the Jews. Paul is not declaring any Sabbath command here. These verses are merely giving us a display of the facts of what is going on in regards to the meeting on a certain day. It's not proof that the Sabbath command is still in effect. Paul is not giving any commands and he is not said to be resting on these days according to the commandment.

Just wanting to show you I have gone through your post section by section and scripture by scripture to show that there is not a single scripture that support your view that God's 10 commandments have been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. The view that God's 10 commandments have been abolished is an unbiblical teaching unsupported by Gods' Word and one that we are warned about by JESUS in Matthew 5:17-20 and John in 1 John 2:3-4.

Hebrews 4:4, and Hebrews 4:9 is not proof that that we have to keep the Saturday Sabbath command in the New Testament. These verses do not explicitly or non-explicitly teach the Saturday Sabbath command. Hebrews 4:6 says, “Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:” Verse 6 here talks about how the Jews did not enter into recognizing their own Messiah (i.e. rest), and they entered not into Christ because of their own unbelief. For if you were to keep reading all the way down to the chapter (with verse 14) it talks about Jesus being our heavenly high priest and how we can obtain mercy and grace in help in time of need. Hebrews 4:8-9 says, “For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.” Some take this to mean Joshua instead of Jesus, and others take this to mean Jesus who was leading Joshua in the taking down of Jericho and it's walls. So if Joshua or Jesus gave the Israelite people rest, he would not aftward spoke of another day. Meaning, the Israelites followed the Law of Moses and the Saturday Sabbath command that gave rest. But if they truly were to have this rest in the shadow or type, then he would not have spoken of another day. The day when Christ would come and give us the true rest in Him. So Jesus is our rest now under the New Covenant.“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28).
One of my favorite passages of scripture. So let’s look at what the scriptures actually say instead of trying to read into the scripture what the scriptures do not say or teach. There is no scripture anywhere in Hebrews 4 that says JESUS is our Sabbath. Hebrews 4 clearly defines what Gods’ rest is and it is God’s rest not ours that the scriptures say those who believe and follow God’s Word enter into. Though it is true we get rest by entering into God's rest. Let’s look at the context you left out again in the passages you provided for your interpretation of the scriptures…

DEFINING GOD’S SABBATH AND GOD’S REST – HEBREWS 4

Letting the scriptures interpret the scriptures. We read in God's 4th commandment of the 10..

EXODUS 20:10 [10], But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God;
This is a direct reference from God's Word defining what the Sabbath is; The SABBATH = the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK which is a direct reference back to the creation week from when it was made as shown in v11.

EXODUS 20:11 [11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and MADE IT HOLY.

NOTE: It is the SEVENTH DAY (SABBATH) that God RESTED so the SABBATH defined as the SEVENTH DAY of the WEEK is GOD'S REST. NOTE EXODUS 20:11 is a direct reference back to GENESIS 2:1-3 which is a direct reference back to GENESIS 2:3 descibing the reason for GOD's 4th Commandment SEVENTH DAY SABBATH is that GOD BLESSED THE SABBATH (defined as the SEVENTH DAY in v10) and made it a HOLY DAY.

It is very clear as we look through the scriptures and let the scriptures interpret themselves that GOD MADE THE SEVENTH DAY SABBATH FOR MANKIND. MARK 2:27-28 [27], And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN, and not man for the sabbath:[28], so that the Son of man is LORD OF THE SABBATH (creator).

The GREEK word highlighted here for MAN in MARK 2:27 is ἄνθρωπος; anthrōpos (G444) which means HUMAN BEING or mankind.

: The SABBATH as defined in God's Word as *EXODUS 20:10 is the SEVENTH DAY OF THE WEEK because God BLESSED the SEVENTH DAY and made it a HOLY DAY in EXODUS 20:11 repeating GENESIS 2:1-3. The CONTEXT that you ignore here is HEBREWS 4:1-5 which is discussing GOD'S REST the SEVENTH DAY SABBATH with reference back to GENENSIS 2:1-3. That is the REST we are to enter into. Those that did not enter into GOD'S REST (SEVENTH DAY SABBATH) did not enter into God's REST because of SIN and UNBELIEF in the gosple of God's WORD.

If you do not get what I am saying after this, I will not reply any further. Titus 3:9 tells me not to strive over matters of the Law (i.e. the Old Law). So if you reply, any post (or posts) will simply go ignored by me. If people want to be under the Old Law, they will listen to you. If they want to follow Jesus and His apostles, they will listen to them. So far, there is NO explicit or non-explicit repeat clear command for keeping the Saturday Sabbath within the New Testament. Try as you might to find such a verse in Scripture, it simply does not exist. You are only making inferences off certain verses (Which people will be able to see for themselves if they want to follow only what is written in God's Holy Word).

Right back at ya buddy. For your interest though Titus 3:9 is not a reference to God’s 10 commandments. It is talking about laws in genealogies if you read what the scripture says.

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

In Titus 3:9 the word law used here is νομικός ; nomikos which means ceremonial laws. So the scripture says to avoid foolish questions in relation to tracing generations [Geneologies] and having contentions about the ceremonial laws that are unprofitable. – Nothing about God’s 10 commandments which we know of course are profitable because they give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken as shown in the new covenant scriptures of Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4.

As shown in the posts in the scriptures shared with you today, once the scripture context is added back into the scriptures you use to support your claims that God's 10 commandments have been abolished, it can be seen that you have not provided a single scripture to support your unbiblcal claims that God's 4th commandment Sabbath has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a holy day. You have also not provided a single scripture to show that God’s 10 commandments have been abolished. Does this not worry you? I believe it should.

Of course, you are free to believe whatever you like. I do not judge you it is the Word of God we accept or reject according to the scriptures that are our judge come judgement day *John 12:47-48. As shown through the scriptures above there is not a single scripture in all of God’s Word that says God’s 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

According to the scriptures, in times of ignorance God winks at but when we are given a knowledge of the truth of Gods’ Word, he calls all men to believe and follow it *Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31; James 4:17. If we however have been given a knowledge of the truth of God’s Word and reject God’s Word the scriptures say there is no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgement to come in Hebrews 10:26-31. What do you think 1 John 2:3-4 and Matthew 5:17-19 mean dear friend?

May you receive God’s correction and be blessed. Ignoring God’s Word does not make it disappear.

To those who may be reading by some odd likely chance and they are on the fence, I will say this:

I do not agree that the 4th commandment was carried over into the New Testament. In fact, I did a study on the New Testament commands from Matthew to Revelation. There is no list of sins with the breaking of the Sabbath included. There is no explicit or non-explict commands for the Saturday Sabbath. Only inferences of men keeping the Sabbath is equated with God approving that the Sabbath command is still in effect (Which is not the same as an actual command). In addition,

Colossians 2 says,

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” (Colossians 2:14).​

We learn in the OT that the weekly Sabbath is inferred as being an ordinance in

Isaiah 58.


“Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God...” (Isaiah 58:2).​

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight,...” (Isaiah 58:13).​

How was the weekly sabbath (Which is an ordinance) against us? Well, the OT talks about how a man was killed for collecting sticks on the weekly sabbath.

Colossians 2:16 says,

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:” (Colossians 2:16).
This verse is saying we are not to let others judge us in regards to whether or not we keep Sabbaths days. This means that the Sabbath is no longer binding because the Saturday Sabbath would be included in the list of the different kinds of Sabbaths (like the yearly Sabbath, etc.). Thus, the 4th commandment in Exodus 20 in the Old Covenant is no longer binding. We are under a New Covenant with New Commands. Hebrews 7:12 says the Law has changed.


Side Note:

In other words, from my plain reading of Colossians 2, there are two things that make me easily conclude that the Saturday Sabbath is no more (Unless of course you are biased towards wanting to keep the Sabbath).

Point #1. Colossians 2:14 says that the ORDINANCES have been blotted out. Isaiah 58 says the Saturday Sabbath is an ORDINANCE (See again Isaiah 58:2, and Isaiah 58:13). So this means the Saturday Sabbath command (not the day being the Sabbath) is blotted out.

Point #2. Colossians 2:16 refers to how we are not to let others judge us according to whether or not we keep the Sabbaths. The Saturday Sabbath would naturally be included in the list of Sabbaths (like the yearly Sabbaths, etc.). So this means that the Saturday Sabbath command (not the existence of the day being the Sabbath) has ended.

As for “Modern Day Sabbath Keepers” suggesting that the collection of the saints on every Sunday was temporary because it was to serve the purpose of Paul's coming to collect:

First, the Corinthian letter was written before Acts 20:7 (Which also affirms a pattern of gathering on the first day of the week). Second, why would Paul tell them to gather the collection every Sunday if it was not to set forth a future pattern of collection for the body of believers? Paul said this applied to both the church of Galatia and the church he was writing to (i.e. the Corinthian church) (See: 1 Corinthians 16:1-2). There is no indication that the collection on Sunday command was only for these churches alone. Paul did not tell them to stop the collections every Sunday if he was not able to make it to them. Why did Paul choose Sunday the first day of the week for the collection and not Saturday? This appears to disprove that the church gathered on the Saturday Sabbath as the eventual pattern or New Covenant way.

Not really dear friend but I see all your doing here is copying and pasting without addressing any of the posts and scriptures only shared in love as a help to you. All my responses to you go through every section of your posts and address your posts section by section and scripture by scripture proving you have not provided a single scripture to support your claims that God's 10 commandments have been abolished by simply adding the context back in that you leave out of your posts.

If you read my posts and scriptures provided dear friend you will see that most of what was written to you was not cut and paste but directly answer your copy and pastes section by section and scripture by scripture. Now let's be honest. Even if it was all copy and paste what does that matter? Does that make truth not truth?

Now everyone of your scriptures have been addressed in detail showing the contexts you leave out make your interpretation and application of them not true. If you disagree with my claims here and evidence showing why in the posts you have not addressed your welcome to prove claims. Until then what have you got to support your view according to the scriptures? - Nothing. Does that not concern you? It should.

Not really dear friend. This is only repetition here on your part of what you said the first time without addressing any of my posts and scriptures to you looking at the within chapter and scripture contexts as well as the Greek word meanings that disagree with your interpretation of the scriptures.

As shown earlier once context is added back to Colossians 2:14-17 it is not saying what you are claiming it says at all and has nothing to do with the 10 commandments. If you disagree please address posts # 95 and the scripture, Greek and questions asked of you that disagree with your interpretation that Colossians 2 is talking about the 10 commandments. As shown in the linked post and also others where you have been repeating the same thing....

1. Context from Colossians 2:11-14 is to the shadow laws of circumcision and baptism

2. Colossians 2:14 is specifically to hand written laws in ordinances not God's 10 commandments

3. Greek Word translated as ordinance in Colossians 2:14 is G1378 δόγμα "dogma" and means a "civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law. None of God's 10 commandments are civil, ceremonial or ecclesiastical law. All of God's 10 commandments are moral laws of our duty of love to God and man *Matthew 22:36-40, from Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 and the standard of what sin is when broken in the new testament *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4.

4. Colossians 2:16-17 is in reference to not judging people in regards to meat and drink, new moons and sabbaths (plural) in the Feast days which were shadows of things to come. There were ceremonial sabbaths in the Feast days linked directly to the Feast days that could fall on any day of the week depending on the yearly cycle. All the Feast days and their sabbaths are prophetic laws pointing to the coming of the Messiah and God's work of salvation for all mankind. These "shadow sabbaths can be found, in (1) Feast of Unleavened Bread (first and last day) *Leviticus 23:6-8 (2) Feast of Trumpets *Leviticus 23:24-25 (3) Day of Atonement *Leviticus 23:27-32 (4) Feast of Booths *Leviticus 23:34-36 (5) Feast of First Fruits *Leviticus 23:39 (6) Feast days of Holy convocation of no work *Leviticus 23:7-8; 21;24; 27; 35-36.

5. It is impossible for God's 4th commandment "seventh day Sabbath" to be a shadow law because is a memorial law of creation and points backwards not forwards. Exodus 20:8 REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY the reason is given in Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: why the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it which points backward (not forwards to things to come) to creation and Genesis 2:1-3. The Sabbath was made as part of the "finished work" of creation as a memorial pointing backwards to God as the creator of heaven and earth. All the "shadow laws" were given after the fall of mankind as part of God's laws for salvation of mankind from sin. Gods' Sabbath was created "before" sin when mankind was in perfect harmony with God when there was no sin, no law, no plan of salvation therefore "no shadow laws" from the book of the law.

Your mixing up the "shadow laws" from the Mosiac book of the old covenant for remission of sins, the Levitical Priesthood, the ceremonial Sanctuary laws and the annual Feast days *Exodus 24:7; Hebrews 7:1-28; Hebrews 8:1-13; Hebrews 9:1-28; Hebrews 10:1-20, Colossians 2:1-17 and Ephesians 2:1-15 with Gods' eternal law (10 commandments) that are the standard of good and evil, sin and righteousness in the new testament that gives us the knowledge of what sin is when broken and righteousness when obeyed through faith *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172.

This is only sent in love dear friend and as a help to you. My prayer is that you will not harden your heart as in the day of provocation but receive Gods' correction and be blessed. God's 10 commandments are not abolished according to God's Word. This is a false teaching from the antichrist and one that JESUS warns us about in Matthew 5:17-19 and John in 1 John 2:3-4.

We also addressed this one in some detail in previous posts (post 99) to you that you choose to ignore. Hebrews 7:12 is talking about the laws of the Levitical Priesthood and have nothing to do with God's 10 commandments.

According to the context of Hebrews 7, Hebrews 7:12; 18 has nothing to do with God’s 10 commandments. The law being spoken of here is the law of the Levitical Priesthood not the 10 commandments. It is talking about a change in the laws regarding who can be a Priest. Under the old testament laws only a Levite could partake of the office of the Sanctuary Priests of High Priest. The context that of JESUS who was born of the tribe of Judah and Melchisedek meaning King Priest.

Hebrews 7:12-22 [12], FOR THE PRIESTHOOD BEING CHANGED, THERE IS MADE OF NECESSITY A CHANGE ALSO OF THE LAW. [13], For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. [14], FOR IT IS EVIDENT THAT OUR LORD SPRANG OUT OF JUDA; OF WHICH TRIBE MOSES SPOKE NOTHING CONCERNING PRIESTHOOD. Hebrews 7:28 FOR THE LAW MAKES MEN HIGH PRIESTS which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, WHICH WAS SINCE THE LAW, MAKES THE SON, WHO IS CONSECRATED FOR EVER MORE.

It is the law of the Levitical Priesthood being changed here because JESUS was from the tribe of Judah and not a Levite as well as the laws for remission of sins not God’s 10 commandments. It should be pretty evident to most here that your only cherry picking the scriptures and that the scriptures you have provided here do not support your claims

This has already been addressed in detail in post # 105 linked which you simply ignored and did not respond to. Your only repeating yourself here dear friend without addressing anything in the post that has already shown that your claim that 1 Corinthians 16 is about Sunday Church gatherings is not true.

Here lets' read what the scriptures actually say...

1 Corinthians 16:1-5 [1], NOW CONCERNING THE COLLECTION FOR THE SAINTS, AS I HAVE GIVEN ORDER TO THE CHURCHES OF GALATIA, EVEN SO DO YOU. [2], ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK LET EVERY ONE OF YOU LAY BY HIM IN STORE, AS GOD HAS PROSPERED HIM, THAT THERE BE NO GATHERINGS WHEN I COME. [3], And when I come, whomsoever you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring YOUR LIBERALITY TO JERUSALEM. [4], And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me. [5], NOW I WILL COME TO YOU, WHEN I SHALL PASS THROUGH MACEDONIA: FOR I DO PASS THROUGH MACEDONIA.

Note: So the chapter context is "concerning the collection of the saints" Paul is giving the same orders as he gave those in Galatia (v1). On the first day of the week (Sunday) let everyone lay by himself in store as God has prospered because or the reason being for this order that there be no money collections when Paul arrives (v2). The reason was that Paul was passing through on His way to Jerusalem (v3-4)

The sections of 1 Corinthians 16:2 are broken down into context order within the scripture for discussion here as marked above in the last two parallel scripture examples above.

So the command given by Paul for the collection of the saints here is that {1} on the first day of the week (every Sunday) let every person {2} lay by him in store - The Greek being παρ ̓ ἑαυτῷ τιθέτω θησαυρίζων par' heautō tithetō thēsaurizōn. Meaning let him lay up at home (by himself), treasuring up as he has been prospered. The Greek phrase, "by himself," means, the same as at home. Let him set it apart by himself at home; let him designate a certain portion; let him do this by himself, when he is at home. Let him set it aside and put it in store, separate it and save it up, as God hath prospered him - The word "God" is not in the original, but it is evidently understood, and necessary to the sense. The word rendered "hath prospered" (εὐοδῶται euodōtai)

Now note the reason here for this command within the scripture is given in the same verse in the last section of the scripture {3} That there be no gatherings when I come - No collections λογίαι logiai, 1 Corinthians 16:1). The apostle means that there should be no trouble in collecting the small sums; that it should all be prepared; that each one might have laid by what he could give; and that all might be ready to be handed over to him, or to whomsoever they might choose to send with it to Jerusalem.

CONCLUSION: As shown in the context of 1 Corinthians 16:1-5 and in the within scripture context, 1 Corinthians 16:1-2 was a command given by Paul for the collection of the saints that every man was to put aside money as God had prospered him at home by himself on the first day of the week (Sunday). It was not a Church gathering it was a command to put money aside at home or alone so that when Paul was passing through he could collect all the money on his way to Jerusalem. There is absolutely - nothing, in these scriptures that says Sunday is a Holy day or that God's 4th commandment Sabbath has been abolished is there? So what have you got here? - Nothing!

There is no indication that the collection on Sunday command was only for these churches alone. Paul did not tell them to stop the collections every Sunday if he was not able to make it to them. Why did Paul choose Sunday the first day of the week for the collection and not Saturday? This appears to disprove that the church gathered on the Saturday Sabbath as the eventual pattern or New Covenant way.
As posted earlier, God's people met everyday of the week according to the scriptures in Acts of the Apostles 2:46-47. The met everyday including Sunday. That does not make every day of the week a Holy day does it? Only God's Sabbath day is a Holy day and the Apostles according to the scriptures continued keeping it "after" the death of JESUS according to the scriptures *Acts of the Apostles 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Revelation 1:10; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 14:12; Revelation 22:14; 1 John 2:3-4; Matthew 5:17-19.

So in summary there is not one scripture in all the bible that says God's 4th commandment of the 10 commandments has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. This is a man-made teaching and tradition that has led many to break the commandments of God. JESUS has is people in every church who are living up to all the knowledge that he has revealed to them and in times of ignorance when we do not know any better God winks at but when he gives us a knowledge of the truth of His Word he expects us to believe and follow it *Acts of the Apostles 17:30-31.

If God gives us a knowledge of the truth of His Word and we reject it in order to follow our sins that the scripture says there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgement to come *Hebrews 10:26-31. JESUS says those who follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not worshiping God in Matthew 15:3-9. God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth *John 4:23-24. God is calling us all out from following the false teachings of men back to the pure Word of God *Revelation 18:1-5. God's sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him. Those who do not hear will not follow because they are not his sheep *John 10:26-27. Many are called we are told but few are chosen *Matthew 22:14

So what else have you got dear friend to support your tradition? - Nothing.

To those who may be reading by some odd likely chance and they are on the fence, I will say this:

I do not agree that the 4th commandment was carried over into the New Testament. In fact, I did a study on the New Testament commands from Matthew to Revelation. There is no list of sins with the breaking of the Sabbath included. There is no explicit or non-explict commands for the Saturday Sabbath. Only inferences of men keeping the Sabbath is equated with God approving that the Sabbath command is still in effect (Which is not the same as an actual command).
Sure there is. Jesus Himself said in Matt. 24:20 in reference to the Temple being destroyed that His Apostles and disciples pray their flight not be in the winter nor the Sabbath Day. IN THE GREEK the word pray in respect to their flight not being on the Sabbath or in the winter is being said in the Imperative Mood. That MAKES IT A COMMAND.
Mood-Imperative

The imperative mood corresponds to the English imperative, and
expresses a command to the hearer to perform a certain action
by the order and authority of the one commanding. Thus,
Jesus' phrase, "Repent ye, and believe the gospel" Mr 1:15
is not at all an "invitation, " but an absolute command
requiring full obedience on the part of all hearers.

NOW THAT WOULD BE A PRETTY CONFUSING THING FOR JESUS TO SAY HIS DISCIPLES IF HE DID NOT EXPECT HIS DISCIPLE TO BE KEEPING THE SABBATH. AND JESUS IS NOT THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION.

Also we have the writer in Hebrews 4:9 saying that there is Sabbath Keeping. Two thing being mention below. A keeping of a Sabbath which is the ceasing from work AS God did from His. And a entering into his rest. That REST is the GOSPEL REST in Christ Jesus. See verses 1 and 2. So HE that IS entered into the Gospel rest, HE ALSO (IN ADDITION TO THAT) ceases from his own works AS GOD DID FROM HIS. AS is a direct comparison. GOD STOPPED WORKING. So we in addition to the Rest we have in Christ Jesus which is the Gospel cease from our own work JUST LIKE God did on the SEVENTH DAY.

Heb 4:9 Therefore remains a keeping of a sabbath for the people of the God.

Heb 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.






In addition,

Colossians 2 says,

From the beginning God worked six days and rested the seventh day. He also blessed and made it Holy. The seventh day is His Holy day from creation. Genesis 2:3

Sabbath was to be obeyed before God wrote and spoke His 10 commandments on stone. Exodus 16 25 Then Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to the Lord; today you will not find it in the field. 26 Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none.”

The only scripture in the entire Bible written by God that was left for all of us are the 10 commandments. They are so important to Him He not only spoke them He wrote them with His own finger on stone. Exodus 20.

1 Peter 2:21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

We are told to follow in His steps. Jesus kept the Sabbath as commanded by His father. Mark 6:2, Mark 15:42,Luke 4:16. And if that is not clear enough Jesus said:
Mark 2:27 And He said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

After Jesus died, we are shown that Sabbath command still being kept Luke 23:56 Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.

On the new earth we will be keeping Sabbath just like it was from the beginning

Isaiah 66:23
And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

There is nothing in the whole Bible asking us to keep Sunday as a Holy day. The point of the Bible is to follow Jesus and believe in the Word and promises. To cherry pick what words we like- grace, salvation, faith but not follow God's simple instruction on HOW we are to love and obey Him seems selfish. Mathew 19:17, John 15:10, Mathew 5:17, Psalm 119:1-2, John 14:15, 1 John 5:3, Mathew 5:18-19, 1 John 2:4 just a few so many more similar scriptures

There are promises in the Bible but it also says:

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. It doesn't read only keeping the faith- it's faith and those who keep the commandments of God, which you find in Exodus 20

Revelations 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. For those that say we only need to keep the spirit of the commandments- God tells us to DO!

Mathew 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Heaven and earth has not passed friends.

Lastly, Daniel even warns us about the Sabbath being changed:

Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law.

The 4th commandment is the only law that is both a time (every seventh day) and law (4th commandment) Look how much discussion we have about this day. The early churches admit they changed God's day from Saturday to Sunday Catholic Quotes about the Sabbath | Sabbath Truth

If you believe in God than you believe in Satan. Do you think Satan has a counterfeit to everything God wants us to do? Don't you think the day or worship would fit into this category especially since there is such clear scripture defining the day God made Holy from creation before there was any Jews?

No one on these forums has to prove anything to me or anyone else. God is the one we will all have to answer to. He knows our thoughts, our actions, and everything we do. If you are questioning what day is Gods Sabbath, the one He asked us not to forget but to Remember, I would pray about it.

GOD'S PEOPLE KEEP ALL OF GOD'S COMMANDMENTS NOT SOME OF THEM.

It is pretty clear that all of God's 10 commandments are written in the new testament scriptures. They are Gods' Word and we are to live by them. We don't reject the Words of God in order to follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God. JESUS says those who do so are not following God in Matthew 15:3-9.

God's end day people according to the scriptures keep all of God's commandments through faith in Gods' Word and have the Spirit of prophecy (they understand the end time events prior to the second coming). They have been born again to walk in God's Spirit. They are God's sheep, they hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him according to the scriptures *John 10:26-27.

Revelation 12:17 [17], And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 14:12 [12], Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Revelation 19:10 [10], And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, See you do it not: I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 22:14 [14], Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath." (Acts 13:42) [Notice: the Gentiles (non-jews) wanted to hear the word of God on the next Sabbath. Paul DID NOT tell them, "Come back tomorrow, the first day of the week, because that's the day us Christians keep." He had them return the following SABBATH]

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. (Acts 13:44)

(Isaiah 66:22-23) [I realize this is an OT scripture, BUT as you can clearly see here, this is dealing with the NEW heavens and earth (after Christ's return) and it states that ALL shall keep the Sabbath then.

It seems quite preposterous, that God would give the seventh day Sabbath to mankind at creation (Genesis 2:1-3), re-introduce it to Israel BEFORE Sinai - after they lost sight of it in captivity (Exodus 16:4-23; 27-29), codify it at Sinai (Exodus 20:1-17) having all His people observe it, including Christ, then change it to Sunday, just to change it back to Friday sunset - Saturday sunset.

THE SABBATH HAS NEVER CHANGED AND IS STILL TO BE OBSERVED!

God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth *John 4:23-24. God is calling us all out from following man-made traditions and teachings back to the pure Word of God.

“For I, the Lord, do not change;

Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them.

Exodus 31 12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Speak also to the children of Israel, saying: ‘Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 You shall keep the Sabbath, therefore, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people. 15 Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death. 16 Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. 17 It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
