It is very strange that the swing state votes take so long to count

If Democrat supporters are to be believed, the reason that there are so many mail-in ballots for Biden, is that Democrats prefer mail-in voting to voting in person, particularly as Biden has encouraged his supporters to use mail-in voting. We are supposed to believe this, despite the fact that many Democrat states declared their results relatively quickly.

Is there a rational, legitimate explanation why the swing states that Biden needs to win the presidential election are taking far longer to count than most of the Democrat stronghold states? Surely if Democrats love mail-in voting so much, the Democrat stronghold states would take even longer to count than the swing states.

From a sceptical point of view, the reason these swing states are taking so long to count is that those tasked with stealing the presidential election underestimated Trump's support in these swing states, and so needed to forge far more mail-in ballots than they ever anticipated being required. All of the forged ballots then still need to go through the act of being counted.

I think at one point it was reported that out of a pile of more than 69,000 ballots counted, less than 4,000 were for Trump, which would suggest that someone made an error, and mixed too many forged ballots into the pile of genuine ballots, leading to a situation where the fraud was blatantly obvious. That adds further complications, because extra Trump votes might need to be forged too, so as not to give the game away, while also being careful that the total number of registered voters is not exceeded.

Apparently, it's not reasonable to question why there are videos being shared of poll workers crumpling ballots, writing on ballots, dumping ballots in trash cans, setting ballots on fire, finding bins of ballots with unregistered names on them, poll watchers being denied access to ballot-counting locations, postal workers being told to date-stamp mail with the wrong date, people questioning why hundreds of thousands of ballots showed up in the dead of night only in swing states where Trump is leading by a small margin, and much more.

Totally unreasonable to be curious.

We stopped paying attention to states that were called one way or another. Alaska only has 50% of their votes counted so far. California is at 66%. D.C. is at 83%. Maryland is at 75%. Mississippi is at 84%. Utah is at 83%.

If you’d done just a little investigating you’d know that many states aren’t done counting. It’s just possible to “call” the election in a state with large margins well before all the votes are counted.

States are called when it's obvious who is going to win. When it's close the result won't be clear until almost the end. E.g. Georgia isn't called at 98%. Many states that have been called are also at 98%. Ohio is still at 90%, but the result was clear so it was called. Indeed California is called, and it's at 77%.

Right, sure, I mean the US constitution specifically says the states determine the way they collect ballots, but yeah, the federal government in a direct contravention of the constitution secretly interfered.

This year in particular, Democrats preferred mail-in voting, in droves. Not because Biden has encouraged it; to my knowledge, he hasn't. Rather, because of Covid-19. For myself, that's why I preferred to vote by mail this year. In fact, in my state (and I believe many others) there was no option for in-person voting - we all had to vote by paper ballot which was to be mailed in or dropped in a drop box. The closest anyone in New Jersey had to in-person voting was to show up at a location where they could fill out the same paper ballot they would have received by mail and then drop it in a drop-box at that location.

Yes, you are supposed to believe this. Because it only makes sense. If it's a "Democratic [NOT "Democrat" - read the forum rules before you get reported and have your post deleted] state" then the vote will be so overwhelmingly in favor of the Democratic candidate that before all the votes are counted the Democratic candidate will have enough votes to mathematically win that state. How is that so hard to understand? It works the same with the Republican states - they were able to declare a win for the Republican candidate because of the math. In the swing states, the count has to be completed because the contest is close - hence a "swing state". You really don't understand this???

I just provided you with the legitimate explanation. By the way, Trump needs those states to win, also.

And what makes you think the Democratic stronghold states afen't taking as long - or longer - than the swing states to count the votes? My state - New Jersey - is one of the biggest Democratic strongholds. We called it for Biden before most of the other states. Yet, my state is STILL counting votes. In fact, some ballots won't even begin to be counted until November 10. It is being reported, by my Republican Assemblywoman, that the New Jersey vote count won't be complete until around November 29th or so. Still, mathematically, Biden has eliminated Trump in our state. That's how we can give the win to Biden even though we're taking LONGER to count our votes than the other states. There's no rush on vote-counting once you have established the winners. The Electoral College won't vote till next month.
