If he was drunk any contract he signed was null and void.

Also, as an IT professional with 30 years of experience your explanations of how someone would find things on the HD are hogwash. Just FYI.

Agreed. Additionally, I think the current version is that some "teenager" who worked for the shop is the one that went through the hard drive; the fact remains that this tech would copy the emails, ensuring he preserved the meta data, not copy them into a PDF file.

So much about this case does not pass the smell test. If the FBI can suddenly find this laptop, that they've allegedly had for a year, then we'll know what the truth is (based on their forensic examination) but, honestly, the fact it hasn't been found by the FBI already is yet more evidence this is a fake story.

Oh, are you suggesting we should consider the two candidate's character and integrity?

One has a 47-year history in politics. The other a bit over 3. Most of what is alleged about Trump are hit pieces by people that never even accepted the 2016 election.

Biden while in office has used the 'N' word on multiple occasions. Called black kids cockroaches. Stated he didn't want his kids going to a racial jungle with blacks. Stated that blacks that do not vote for him aren't even black. He enjoys little kids rubbing his hairy legs in the swimming pool. Stated poor kids are just as smart as white kids. Stated you can't even go to a 7/11 without a slight Indian accent. Said he was in the senate for 108 years, VP for 10 years, and is still campaigning for the senate currently.

What proof do you have that it's legitimate? Republican operatives have down that at least a few of them have no stoop below levels.

I can't see the article.

I am more interested in actions during tenure. Which of course was Biden's lifetime for the most part...

So what characters of Biden was it for you that made you decide to vote for him? Was it calling black kids cockroaches? The hairy legs thing? The reason I ask is because it seems a lot of what Biden says, does and stands for would be career ending for anyone else.

Here's a different article that outlines some of the issues with this story.

My big questions: Why did they save a PDF of the emails (particularly if they copied the hard drive) rather than the emails themselves?

Why does the computer shop owner's story keep changing?

How and why is Giuliani involved, since government reports show that Giuliani's sources in the Ukraine were people working for Russian Intelligence, that were pushing fake stories about the Bidens?

Where is the laptop? If you read the above article, we know the agent who allegedly was given the laptop, why can't the FBI find it?

Therein lies a bit of genius. If the story is made up, you can just claim that the FBI is covering for Biden and they must be investigated! So then you can start investigation after investigation after investigation. Do it enough and now you've planted the idea of wrong doing in everyone's minds. That's what happened with Hillary.

That said, such a strategy can't be done in a couple weeks. That takes a lot of time. You gotta beat that drum for years before it starts bearing fruit.

Because he's not Trump. More importantly, because he doesn't have a right-wing religious constituency to answer to.

So you are voting for Biden because he isn't Trump, and does not hold to conservative Christian ideals?

Far enough... I would assume this is the reasoning for allowing so many racist and otherwise career ending comments/stances off the hook. Just got to defeat that Trump.

An October belly flop. Literally no one is changing their vote over Hunter Biden.

No. But it will give people their "But her emails!" and "Bengazi!" for four years if Biden wins. Because we live in a circus world with circus rules.

Sure, it’s our right as Americans to be able to spread fake stories to harm the other party. Who do Twitter, Facebook et al think they are!!

They limited it before the fact checkers did their checking:

Fifteen important things to say about Facebook, Twitter, and the New York Post’s Hunter Biden story

Facebook’s limit seems like an extremely fuzzy application of its anti-misinformation policies. The platform routinely downranks false information, but it appears to have preemptively reduced the Post article’s reach before fact-checking, and while it said the article would be subject to its third-party fact checks, it didn’t have a fact-checking label attached as of this article’s publication.

I would rather see all of the information and decide what is true.

Also, I agree with another take from the Verge article:

This is a platform power problem. If the internet weren’t synonymous with a handful of mega-sites that act as ubiquitous quasi-utilities for global speech, we could simply treat Twitter and Facebook as websites with idiosyncratic community standards.

And on what basis would you decide what is true? If you see the same false story repeated ad infinitum you might start to believe it must have some merit. That's how propaganda works.

You might be surprised to know how many people actually fell for the story that Sen. Clinton ran a Satan ring of child molesting out of the basement of a pizza parlor.

A slight correction, he said nothing about voting for Biden because he "does not hold to conservative Christian ideals." He said his issue was with the "Christian Right" which is a political organization far more than it is a religious one. That isn't to say there aren't plenty of good Christian people who are part of the "Christian Right," just as there are plenty of good Christian people who are Democrats; just that the political organization does a poor job of representing Christ, at least per my faith.

The original laptop was given to the FBI once the store owner...

My wife, Morgan Fairchild, says we have no evidence of this, and the FBI is not commenting on the matter.

Contradicting what he told reporters the day before, Mac Isaac told CNN he did not contact anyone at the FBI about what he saw but that he made "other plans" to get in touch because he "didn't feel comfortable." Eventually, he said, the FBI came and seized the laptop with a subpoena on Dec. 9, 2019. He said he has a receipt for the seized property but declined to share a copy of the FBI paperwork with CNN.
Both the office of the US attorney in Delaware and the FBI declined to confirm or deny the FBI's involvement or the existence of any investigation when asked by CNN.

So what are we talking here? It is Christ like to abort babies? Homosexuality? Destroy the nuclear family? Race baiting? Rioting in the streets terrorizing people?

I'm not understanding where you are at with this....

How would a few people at Facebook determine whether it was true before the factcheckers checked it?

If you don't think you can look into various viewpoints and find some notion of what is true, then why can they?

What spin? Your ascertain was being Christlike or representing Christ. In what way? The 'Christian right' as you call it, is politically against those things I mentioned. So to what are you saying is not Christlike?
