Well, I've got a few years on you. I actually listened to The Jam first, not knowing that their song "Start" used pretty much the same bass riff as "Taxman" from The Beatles. When I discovered that I went in search of the Taxman song, and well, there it began. I was hooked ever since.

It helps if you come from a rock and roll background to begin with. Some of the Beatles albums take some acclimatising to. Some of them are a bit of head spin.

How long have you been into them? I remember getting into arguments with my father as a teenager.. he said the Beatles changed everything.. and I thought they were just one band within many during that era. Now.. I think I'm mostly wrong.. although other bands during that era still contributed a lot to modern music.
