Someday I would like to invite you all to my place. God will work it out and it won't take you much effort to make it. Perhaps, I might own a big beautiful house in the US where the majority of you live and close by. Technically, it is where I was born again. Pray about it. This might take a long time but it will happen. If not now, then after this life. I have a mansion up there too.

So I thought I will start planning for the occasion. Tell me what all arrangements you would like to have when you come for the meet-up. Help me with some ideas and your choices/likes. (I myself have never been to a bar/pub or tasted a drink, not even wine, other than what they give in the church).

P.S- I hope to see you all. A few of you are the only friends I've ever got to make in my entire life. (I don't go out much for now and I'm not present on any other social platform, except for a professional network which is inactive).

Again, I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19. :)

Personally, I wouldn't leave India to live anywhere in the west. We're spiritually in recession; yes, we have all of the sparkly stuff and opportunities are rife, but the it'll water you down. Believe me.

Of course, there's an A side and a B side to everything, and a buzzing social life IS essential to really understand the full scope of the world we're all (for some reason) living in.

Basically, don't glorify the superficial stuff, but don't hold yourself back either. If you can balance spiritual abundance with western capitalism, then do so.

(I know that this is pipe dream type thread, but honestly - be careful what you wish for.)

:) I have done it before and now even more prepared for it. I lived in the US before, not very long ago. Have graduated from a University in California and worked in a major pharmaceutical organization as a Medical Researcher/Scientist. I still do but now remote. That's some personal information and a testimony of what God has done in my life. I came from nothing to that with no help but with God alone by my side. It's actually a lot easier for someone from the east to perceive that spiritual darkness in the west and guard yourself against it. Not watering me down, rather the opposite happened. I was filled with the living waters and Holy Spirit fire. My spiritual walk leveled up, drastically. That's where I became born again.

Thanks for the concern, really. I agree with you. But I've been tested and trained through the fire, in all that. Moreover, He is with me.

The superficial stuff is for His service and glorification. He prepares me for it before He gives it to me. If I'm to adopt 100 children then I would need a big house to serve them all. If I'm to invite you all to my place then I would need a big space. I think it's a common wish we all have, to meet. We all have to agree in His name and He will make a way.

I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance, and need. Philippians 4:12.

Gospels,

If you're going to adopt 100 children you'd need a sizeable estate and the requisite staff to manage the property and care for them. You'd be looking at something along the lines of a large manor home with outbuildings and land for gardens and animals if self-sufficiency is your goal. It will reduce your food costs. You have to feed and house your employees.

You'd also need significant security. Maintaining that many young people in one place will necessitate dealings with social services and other agencies. Vetting everyone would be your number one responsibility and you'd need help to put a team together. The security team would work with placement agencies to make it happen.

How will you educate the children? Governesses and tutors don't come cheap nor do nannies. You'll need a kitchen and housekeeping staff. An estate manager, butler, groundskeepers, and so on.

In short, you're reenacting the Edwardian period. Except you're paying a livable wage and doing it on American soil. Which means benefits and everything else. The upfront and ongoing costs are substantial. You'd need immense wealth and income to fund it.

8 figures or more per year. 7 figures would be cutting it close.

If the Lord laid this on your heart you don't need agreement. If He means to give it to you He will.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella

Thanks, Bella.

I'm willing to go and be anywhere but He has me for the US, I believe.

Gospels,

Security will be your biggest expense. Location wise, somewhere with low taxes is ideal with land like Wyoming. You'd be better off building from the ground up. Make it green and use solar panels and windmills to reduce energy costs.

All you need is someone with a similar vision who has the gifts and resources to bring it to pass. :)

ETA:

Adoption may not imply physical children in your home. It could relate to support you provide for those in need. Or a combination of the two.

Yours in His Service,

~Bella

If you can help only one child who does not have a home or have food or a person that loves them, that is amazing too. There are many I know and it would be so wonderful to help every one of them. I pray that you find what you need to see your beautiful ideas.:twohearts:

Whatever the Lord gives. I'd be fine with or without kids. With everything that is happening in this world and with the increasing burden to help the needy, I'm thinking one is more. Then, maybe adopt some or even be able to support orphan kids if that is okay with my future husband.

Think lots of volunteers and non profit for your someday plan, and a fine plan it is.

Hey, that's what I thought you were doing all along

Invite them all over for a promised good time then drop the volunteer bombshell on them. Lol.

You might just make it after all. ;)

Do you cook GospelS? I would be delighted to try your cooking if we were to all meet. Or maybe even make it a potluck and share our cooked meals. :)

We could also play some board games. I would definitely enjoy playing Settlers of Catan or Carcassonne with the group.

Karaoke is the another group activity, which can be done together. Though, I am not a singer, but I'm sure a few of you have been blessed with angelic voices, where those of us don't. :)

Yeah, in a bar or a comedy club. Not Buckingham Palace. ^_^

*Used Buckingham Palace as a example to highlight my >>NOT<< being an American-ness. Yes, we're cousins - ones to which I visit frequently, but please... They spell 'ise' words with a 'Z'. Can't be having that.
