Predestination is never, ever, ever, that of lost man unto salvation.
Predestination is always that of a saved man unto a glorified Christ's-image-bearing resurrection body.
That's what you get if you let the scriptures speak for themselves, in context, and with defining cross-references, without looking at them through any theologically-coloured glasses.

This study proves, diligently, and scripturally, the following:
  1. No verse ever clearly specifies when predestination (not election) occurs
  2. There is no predestination unto salvation in the Bible
  3. Predestination is always unto adoption (not salvation)
  4. Adoption is the redemption of the body (not the soul)
  5. Adoption occurs at the resurrection
  6. Adoption is a blessing accompanying salvation but not salvation itself

You are bringing out qualities in God's work in us. Our adoption begins now, but will be clinched if we haven't thrown it away by preventing others acceding.

Proverbs 21: 10-31, Is. 55, 58, 61, feeding of the thousands, James, Paul re. crowns, talents. God's pyramid scheme is the only one worth trusting and the only one Christians don't trust!

Does an infant who is adopted choose his parents?
The analogy doesn't stand because, in the Bible, it's the body that is adopted, after salvation. It's not the spirit upon salvation.

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Sure there is predestination to salvation. Just like unconditional election before the foundation is to salvation.

If "sure", please show the verse with specific exposition.
I decline to do all that. We will see at the Judgment. You want me to do things you haven't done.

Then you should have never commented, or said "we don't know, we'll find out" before shooting it down. Suddenly, now that there's no backing for the unscriptural position, a snobbish spiritual stance is adopted, all the while pontificating that the meticulous scripture-with-scripture interpretation that was presented is wrong.
Moving on.

The order is specified clearly here:
Romans 8:29For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters; 30and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

It's not redemption of "the body" nor is it redemption of our bodies. It is redemption of our(plural) body(singular) i.e. the body of Christ
Romans 8:23Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

Adoption occurs at the resurrection

Everyone can have an opinion but look at this verse.
1 John chapter 4 verse 7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

That's regeneration (born), not adoption. Two different concepts.
