CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had a HUGE laugh on a recent Sports Chat room. I mentioned that my favorite team in the STEELERS but my second favorite team was the Raiders. Someone told me that I am not a real football fan, because the Raiders and Steelers are in the same conference and therefore somehow rivals.
I told the guy, "yeah, I get people in Christian Forums telling me all the time that I am not a real Christian either"
Fact is, I like football, I will watch a game regardless of who is playing, but some will be more interesting of course, than others.

Yeah, don't listen to them. I watch whichever games I want, the ones that seem interesting. I am a passive Bucs fan because of where I live, but I would not say I am a big fan at all. I preferred the XFL for the few games we had this season. Sorry it did not go your way but don't worry. your excellent coach is mimicking our coach that led to your teams defeat and the Dolphins will be a team to beat in the future. It takes time to rebuild a team properly. Still, his on the right track.

Used to be big Lions fan. Now turned off from all the virture signaling the league's been doing as well as their double-standards. The league has a long ways to go before they win me back. Won't watch a minute of them.
