Covid Hair

Ok...
I have what I heard as termed as "Covid Hair"

I was needing a haircut when I went into quarantine and have not left that status.

Any haircut now is going to be serious business.
I'm going to feel bald by the time I finally get one. It's sooooo long now. I feel like a hippie from the 70's.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I ordered a pair of clippers. I picked a number and ran it across my head until hair quit falling on the floor. I have no idea what the back looks like. I can't see it, so I don't care.

There's a critical length where it's too short to effectively tie back, and too long to keep out of the face. Once you get past that point, you can tie it back and it feels just like short hair...with a ferret taking a nap on the back of your neck.

Here in Nashville TN there have been several haircut places that have been super-spreader places...been that way early on. Even in the next county...

So I've been hesitant to even try.

Of course we had to get a response from the Barber.

To be honest - I lied.

I got my usual buzz cut on Monday. Number 2 over the top and 1 1/2 on the sides.

Given my thick, luxuriant hair that will last about 3 weeks.

I have relaxed since toilet paper has once again graced the grocery store shelves...

It probably has caused my hair to grow more. (The lack of stress)

Yeah I almost ran out of TP myself here as idiots hoarded it big time and none of the stores had any.... also ramen noodles vanished too and the price shot up 20%. We are somewhat lucky here as we have a plant that makes TP in the area.

Then you have a simple solution to your hair problem.

Stop buying toilet paper and your hair will stop growing.

No. Since I have a beard I look like a real mountian man, not a hippie.

Using one problem to solve another problem and solving both problems at the same time.

Perhaps add in a little yoga to attain the necessary flexibility and I think you've got the problem licked (well...no, not licked ....beaten)
