June has been a disaster for the Prez. 2 major SCOTUS decisions went against his administration's positions. COVID-19 cases are ballooning--especially in several southern and western states that are part of his base. His Tulsa rally was a bust. And some recent polls are really ugly. Today's CNBC general election poll has Biden up by 9 points. But the voters' mood in individual states is far more important. A NYT/Sienna College poll today has Trump trailing Biden by double digits in MI, PA, and WI. And Joe is up by 6 points in FL. Of course, it's still early. But this is critical. If Trump loses FL, he has no chance. It's true that Hillary was leading in polls early on. But Donald Trump is an incumbent. He should have an advantage. None of the last 3 incumbent Presidents who were re-elected were so far under water 4 months from the election.

I almost feel sorry for the guy. Almost.

As much as I despise the guy, I do not feel sorry for him. And I will issue the same warning I did about this time four years ago. He can still win. Democrat and Moderate overconfidence is a potential strength for him.

The Palestinians have no intention of signing a peace treaty with Israel - the Israelis haven't rebuilt the Temple since they regained statehood over 70 years ago for a reason!

It's true that Joe doesn't have Obama's charisma. Hillary had more baggage than Samsonite, but she still won 20 states and 232 EVs. She lost the election because of 3 states--MI, WI, and PA. Each of which she lost by 1% or less. She couldn't motivate the Obama voters to get to the polls. But now they know what a mistake that was. As of now, I don't see that Trump has a snowball's chance of winning any of the deep blue states that Hillary won. If Joe can hold these, and eke out bare majorities in MI, WI, and PA, that's 278 EVs. He wins. The NYT poll today gave him double digit leads in those 3 states. For sure, anything can happen in 4 months. He can flub it big-time. But as of now--if election betting was legal, and I was a Vegas bookmaker, I'd set the moneyline on a Trump win at +120. Which is 6-5 against. About a 45.5% chance. But the odds can go in either direction as circumstances change.

Feel sorry for those 3000 young people and their families who were told that the Church had an ionization process that would eliminate COVID-19 and attended the President's political rally in an enclosed, indoor venue without masks and social distancing - all contrary to the Trump Administration's own CDC guidelines!
