I have been sinning with lust for a long time now. I repent, please pray for me I need to be saved from it. Ask God to have mercy on me and forgive me and deliver me.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I’m praying dear friend, I have struggled with this for 4+ years. I have been almost 3 years free. I Pray that you can fight your flesh!

Heavenly Father, may you intercede and help this one to overcome the sin of lust. Grant them the strength and determination to put a stop to it so they can be delivered from lust, In Jesus Name, Amen

Many - including some posters on here - have found the book Every Man's Battle to be quite helpful.
If you are very healthy, a once a week 24 hour water only fast with prayers can be quite liberating over time.
