Hiiiii! I'm new, so you might not have seen me
How are ya? How are you holding up during this whole quarantine craziness?
Hi Shineyourlight . I've definitely taken notice of God's radiant joy from your postings here. Thank you very much for your welcome. Seeing many of you, posting frequently, helped me break the ice to not stay in the shadows.
"John 1:5 - And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."
I'm holding up "ok" during this time. The only obstacle I've found, is not being able to give my nieces a hug. I'm still grateful we all get to see each other briefly each week.
Has anyone brought you Taco Bell recently? I almost tried to go earlier to one, however, decided to settle for a Taco Delmar.
Welcome venksta. I've seen you around Singles off and on recently, and thought this would be a good opportunity to say hi.
We would love to hear your testimony, if you're ever open to sharing it.
Thank you Rigatoni . I look forward to sharing my testimony, when God gives me the chance.
I went out early for a errand, and was listening to the local Christian station, that mostly plays teaching programs. The program (Abounding Grace) that was playing, was about Abraham. I had just read that part of Genesis last night. I wanted to get a quick refresher and see what God would show me, which I missed before. As I listened, my mind wondered to your encouragement about sharing my testimony, and I was wondering what I'd say at some point. My mind lead me to the part of scripture about "equally yoked", as this has been something God engraved into my heart, at an early age, which has helped keep my faith.
As soon as I thought the words "yoked", the pastor on the radio, spoke those words, exactly right after! How great is our God!
"2 Corinthians 6:14-
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
