Yeah, keeps telling us we need to obey Gods commands, yet continues listening and quoting words from Book of Mormon he that was clearly shown came from an EVIL ANGEL who told Joseph Smith to disobey Gods Word.

Soaking up words from Gods ARCH enemy....and tells US to obey Gods commands to be saved?

Listening to an evil spirit that inspired Joseph Smith to write Book of Mormon is the absolute height of breaking His commands. NO one who knows God would ever defile themselves with such grievous sin, knowing the book they read came directly from Gods arch enemy.... I cannot even fathom how someone could be that unfaithful.....And then TELL OTHERS they need to keep his commands to be saved. Makes me shudder.

God has opened my eyes to whats behind Mormonism. Doctrines of demons. Know your labor in showing Christians and others about Mormonism is not in vain PhoebeAnn.

Do you remember in the bible that Jesus was accused of healing people by the power of the devil? Do you remember his response? He said how can satan's house stand divided? IOW how could he be healing people in the name of satan and at the same time be preaching to reject satan, and come unto his Father and that he is the way of life and truth, not satan.

I respond the same way to you today. How can satan's house stand divided. The BOM is a testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ. That he lived, taught us his gospel, died on the cross for our salvation and was resurrected and now sits on the right hand of his Father, awaiting his second. The BOM, like the Bible is all about Jesus Christ and his righteousness.
It also rejects satan as the enemy of Jesus. On every turn it speaks against satan and gives you many reasons to turn from satan and turn to Christ.

So like Jesus before, JS is testifying of Christ and tells us to come unto him. JS also rejects satan and preaches that we need to turn away from the evil that satan brings into our lives and turn to Jesus, who is the author of eternal life.

IOW how can the BOM be from satan if it is so filled with Jesus Christ and his righeousness. If the BOM was of satan, it would not be so full of Jesus Christ, it would have some good things to say about satan, right? But it does not, it rejects satan and shows us the path to Christ.

So the BOM and JS are of Christ, not satan. It only makes sense since the works of JS only focus on the righteousness of Jesus Christ, and how to be like him. You need to rethink your thoughts.

If you want to call Jesus God, you have to think of the Godhead like we think of the Godhead.
Then you can say that Jesus is God, but only then, because we know that the Godhead is made up of 3 Gods, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. 3 separate and distinct Gods, each one of them can be called God, each one of them can stand on their own as God.
And they are so unified in their purpose, it is as if there is only 1 God.

But by your definition of God, you cannot call Jesus God, because he is not the sum total of the Trinity, there are others involved, and it is they that are God.

You have yet to show one place in the Book of Mormon that does not speak of the Christ of the Bible. Jesus Christ shed His blood for us.

What I will say is that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is Christ's true church. Nothing you can say will change that.

It is only this man Jesus that did that, which the BOM and the Bible testify of. Read what Nephi and Mosiah and Alma and Moroni all felt about Jesus Christ. Their testimoies are the same as Peter, and Paul and John and Matthew. Same man, same testimonies, from people that are separated by thousands of miles without the ability to communicate with each other.
But yet they both testify that they saw the Lord Jesus Christ and they saw the wounds in his hands and his feet and his side, and testify that he lives and is the Savior of the world.

2 peoples, 2 books, 2 witnesses that witness the same thing, separated by thousands of miles. Makes you want to believe that Jesus was really the Christ, because how could these 2 groups of people know the same things about Jesus?

It is because of the Bible and the BOM that I believe that Jesus is the Christ. I am grateful for the 2 witnesses that confirm the same man, Jesus Christ.
