That’s unfortunate. Family businesses require lots of grooming. You have to impart the value of its continuance which ties into the greater honor of being one of the tribe. But if duty is absent there’s little chance they’ll push through the challenges.
I have some in the pantry made with avocado oil. But I usually opt for olive oil instead.
It sounds like she has a hearty appetite.
For a small household there’s little savings buying direct. You’d normally pay retail prices for the cuts. Bundles are an option. They’re smaller than bulk orders.
I’m deciding between a few options for fish delivery. I prefer a service which allows me to customize the box. I don’t want them choosing for me. Hopefully I’ll narrow it down in a day or two.
Do you grow your own vegetables? Or get them from the farmers market or grocer?

The local city sponsored farmers market, but we also have a business in town that is call farmers market. Either one but the city one is only open on saturdays.
But really for organic, walmart grocery is the best bet and it is a small selection.
I am just currently growing my tomatoes, garlic, several blueberry bushes and a blackberry vine.
The raised bed in the backyard needs the wood replaced so i am going to do that in the next few weeks. It was made out of 2x12's but i am going to go with 6x6" stacked that should last longer.
Mom does eat, still fairly good, it is just not as much. But for her she is picky and likes just the crystal grill and one or two other places in town.
The crystal grill is an old family restaurant (greek owned) that cooks great southern dishes and really good fish, redfish, snapper, flounder, catfish and salmon.
That is where her lunch came from yesterday we do takeout.

Where i live is the home and where the stove was created and started, Viking Range and is still located here. I thought back in the 1990's Viking was going really bring greenwood back around the owner through the company was buying up a lot of downtown property and restoring the buildings for office space. But the owner got the company into bad shape (housing bust in the 2008 hurt them bad) and ended up selling to Middlebay. Viking is still here and Middlebay is trying to turn the company around, to produce a better product now.
