To stop discounting God's word to make it conform to modern agendasProviding He tarry, there are to be sure an ever-present and pressing list of needs that never leaves us. Some of these are becoming much more of a concern as time marches on. Thank God for the liberties the Christian life holds for the Church to be able to bring Christ to a fallen world.
The grace God gives to accomplish this will not fail to the very time He comes again. What are some of those pressing needs facing the Church coming into the 2020's?
I believe I understand the direction of your comment, true, we know nothing as we ought, shouldn't also be reason to forsake confidence ending in fruitfulness. Being "salt" requires this of us.To stop discounting God's word to make it conform to modern agendas
what I was referring to is things like saying since Jesus didn't Stone the woman caught in adultery, he okayed all forms of sexual sin including homosexuality which uses that argument oftenI believe I understand the direction of your comment, true, we know nothing as we ought, shouldn't also be reason to forsake confidence ending in fruitfulness. Resembling an image akin to an impossible initiative, but isn't if with God.
Quick, lest we be accused of leading others into a lifestyle of “sin”!what I was referring to is things like saying since Jesus didn't Stone the woman caught in adultery, he okayed all forms of sexual sin including homosexuality which uses that argument often
Yeah, it's the go and sin no more part that people are omitting to justify their lifestyleQuick, lest we be accused of leading others into a lifestyle of “sin”!
When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”
(John 8:10,11)
