Providing He tarry, there are to be sure an ever-present and pressing list of needs that never leaves us. Some of these are becoming much more of a concern as time marches on. Thank God for the liberties the Christian life holds for the Church to be able to bring Christ to a fallen world.

The grace God gives to accomplish this will not fail to the very time He comes again. What are some of those pressing needs facing the Church coming into the 2020's?

How can we continue to be relevant,as God's people in present day society! We must remain in constant communication with the Good Shepherd. He will guide us as we surrender all to Him!'Abide in Him and He will abide in you'.

It’s an interesting dichotomy today as it has been from the beginning, but now here in America a loose observance of that ancient but particularly direct patronage set before every Christian,

Treat everyone with high regard: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

1 Peter 2:17

Our brothers across the pond seemed to have preserved a better image of this than we, though safe measures are secured from tyrannical influence, a sacrifice of that honor to so much a degree today it is hardly visible due to this very threat,

“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” - Thomas Jefferson

Those who are willing to sacrifice it further are often seen enmeshed with so much promotion of the one; proper logic to protect, but have nothing to show on the other side of that coin, proper logic to govern the abusive assault.

We need to learn to be still before God!
