Anyone have experience operating in the gift of faith?

My understanding of the gift of faith is that God can utilize this gift to drop in someone extraordinary faith that goes far beyond personal faith. Some might say it is needed in order to raise someone from the dead. If anyone has experience in this gift could they please share? I assume like prophecy, you can desire this gift. 1 Corinthians 12:31 (NASB)
31 But earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I show you a still more excellent way.

One of the reasons I ask is I believe God could gift someone to shut the virus down for a particular area. Our personal faith hopefully can keep it out of our family, based on Ps 91 and other scriptures. However, if the gift of faith were operating, God (if willing) could have someone hedge their entire county, state, or more. Any thoughts?

Ask yourself a good reason why it should stop, other than saving people's lives in the short term period.

I could think of a number of good reason why this virus is actually good for everyone:

- Greatly reduced air travel may offer the ozone layer a moment to replenish. A thin ozone layer increases the chances of skin cancer and skin cancer kills people. Elevated UV levels can disrupt the ecosystem and definitely not good for our food supply.

- Greatly reduced spending (after the panic buying) would again offer our natural resources to recuperate, replenish, and heal. And this is a good thing for everyone.

The virus is NOT evil. Given that humans are the most destructive species here on Earth. Anything that opposes our wasteful lifestyles must be a good thing.

I've operated in this gift many times.

The gift of Faith most often operates in conjunction with other gifts.

Yes, you can earnestly seek any of the gifts.

Remember we don't operate in the gifts to do what we want, but to do what God wants.

That's nothing but twisting scripture to fit your twisted narrative. That scripture by no means says God will send a virus to plague the righteous alongside the unrighteous to "save the Earth". That's not remotely God's nature or character.

So where do we see Jesus putting a plague on anyone? Even the Pharisees? It's NOT God's character.

Rev 11:18 - the word destroy means "corrupt minds and morals" so He is judging those who corrupted the minds and morals of the world. By that definition what YOU are doing fits into Rev 11:18 more than CV19.

I have read the Greek Strong's Concordance of it.

It doesn't say what you're saying there.

They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

And the two witnesses will be hated too. Everyone will hate them.

Ironically, they will use their supernatural gifts to cause plagues...You can see how people here on Earth will hate them.

Well it came directly from Strong's and Thayer's AND it fits with the gospels and the rest of the Bible, what you are peddling does not.

Because viruses have nothing to do with John 14:12 unless we are rebuking them in Jesus name.

I have nothing against being wise with spending and with the environment. I do have issue with the idea of God sending a virus as a good thing to help the environment. That's is not scriptural in any way whatsoever. That kind of thing actually damages people's Faith and turns them away from God, I have seen it first hand and had to guide hurt people to healing because of talk like this.
