My father's lungs are doing a little better. Good news, because my mother just told me today that on Saturday or Sunday one of the doctors pulled her aside and said he would probably die. Something I am kind of glad she didn't tell me until things started looking better.

Although now that his operation is a success and whatnot, I think that comment is becoming less and less relevant.

I had a wave of 'something' wash over me last night as I was laying there trying to fall asleep. Not a happiness; not a sadness; not anything in particular but all of them together. Brief, and only lasted for a couple of minutes, but was really pretty wonderful.

I was too lazy to wait in line to meet them when I saw them in concert, so I just took pics of them from far away. This was back when they had a different drummer though.

I don't see our canine mascot at work, Bromine, often at all, since of all areas in the entire plant she naturally tends to hang out near the spot where workers can buy lunch on the day shift, and I rarely go there. But strangely she was found chasing after the car in front of me as we were getting off shift and leaving the site. When she ran out of breath a little further down the entrance road, I stopped for a moment and took a snapshot.
