In a nutshell, Trump wants companies to be able to legally bribe foreign officials.
Like it use to be in the days before he cleaned the swamp?Trump wants companies to be able to legally bribe foreign officials.
As GSF said, this report was by people with an agenda. Not 100% reliable, but then again not totally out of character for Trump.Trump was stunned and angered that federal law forbids bribery and corruption. Why would anyone be surprised?
What's kind of interesting is that he actually thought that his Secretary of State could just nullify the law, and when Secretary Tillerson explained why he couldn't, Trump then planned to issue a presidential decree that would do so.

Is that like cleaning a trout pond by stocking it with Piranhas?Like it use to be in the days before he cleaned the swamp?

Executive Orders can be a dime for a dozen. They can be changed the next time a President comes in if Congress didn't come on board. I think it is a complex issue though with a lot of grey areas involved which is hard to define just what is ethically wrong. Even in the States you have Governors offering tax incentives to companies to relocate in their areas so what's the difference. Isn't it still money in their pockets regardless and thus could be called bribes?Trump was stunned and angered that federal law forbids bribery and corruption. Why would anyone be surprised?

As the world gets worse we have more of the power of God to overcome the world.Again, God told us thousands of years ago it would get like this. We shouldn't be surprised by what comes out of either side.
