Hello, I was watching supernatural with sid roth, you know the christian tv-show sort of, I noticed something among the audience, yes, they all look brainwashed sort of, I don`t mean you thinking they are when you see them, but they reflect what others think of them over a long time and with body Language, I was thinking then, if they really believes in a supernatural god, why don`t they look just normal? I understand they reflect what others think of them, but why do they reflect it back if they really believe?

No, it proves nothing and is kinda insulting.

I am not familiar with the program, but most any audience is going to appear "brainwashed" to an observer simply because they are paying attention to the speaker. I remember seeing almost glazed over eye impressions from groups I've spoken to when I was a technical trainer.

I was talking more about the long-term reflecting back

I am very familiar with the Sid Roth program. It is a show that has absolutely no discernment. Anyone and everyone has made a claim on that show about supernatural powers and events. As far as the audience, they are people who crave "proof" of the living God and this is one of the ways they can claim proof.
Be blessed.

Did anyone in the audience faint?

I've read one of Roth's books, and he struck me as very sincere and insightful. But his show is geared toward a upbeat variety format, and has an accent on the outward phenomena, as the lead-in shows. Nothing wrong with any of that, but you're generally not going to get a lot of deep thinking on it. And I would expect the studio audience to reflect the content of the show that brought them there. Again, nothing wrong with that. But this is one aspect, not the sum total, of what Christianity is about.

Those who truly believe in Christ are the only "normal" people. I won't comment on Sid Roth.

I don't know how you can assert that Roth's audience reflects what others think of them. Where do you get that information? There is only one view that matters - what God thinks of us!

Ah, I just thought this audicence was the most honest sort of, but I Guess they just reflect what other peopke think of them since they believe, not the other way around

What's your point to these questions? Are you looking to find out what Christianity is actually about?

I sort of differ a little in my views of the world, if everything is energy really I sort of look at that fact and feel Comfort, I haven`t sensed a god yet or some sort of higher intelligence somewhere, but I understand you guys do so, perhaps I can learn something from you about faith also
