If the specific year when the tribulation will end is written in scripture, then why are we not seeing this? Could it be due to the fact that we may be spiritually blinded and do not recognize these sealed end-time prophecies, just as the disciples were partially blinded to the 'sign of Jonah' and numerous other prophecies that revealed Jesus came to die on cross as Israel's suffering Messiah? Luke 18:31-34.

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. (When) Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase."

God reveals the years of Israels servitude and bondage
In the book of Genesis the Lord told Abraham that his offspring (Israel) would be servants and suffer affliction in a land not their own for a total of 400 years, Genesis 15:13. And this 400 year period of time was fulfilled when Moses delivered Israel from their bondage to Pharaoh after 430 years in Egypt and Canaan, Exodus 12:40 (Septuagint), Acts 7:6-7.

God also told Jeremiah that rebellious Israel would be taken captive for 70 years in Babylon, Jeremiah 29:10. And in the book of Daniel the angel Gabriel said there would be a period of 483 years from the decree of Artaxerxes to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, to when the anointed one (Jesus) would come and be killed (on the cross for our sins) but not for himself, Daniel 9:25-26.

Over and over again the Lord has revealed in his prophetic Word the exact number of years when Israel's servitude and captivity would end. And when you consider this fact its reasonable to assume the year when Israel will be set free from their slavery to sin at the end of the tribulation, may also be hidden in several prophecies that we do not recognize unless God opens our spiritually blinded eyes to see them.

The 2,000 year Gospel Age
  • In a previous article I discussed the story of the cup-bearer and baker who met Joseph after he was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife, stripped of his garments and imprisoned,
  • that's a prophecy for the two thieves who met Jesus on the cross after he was falsely accused by the leaders of Israel, stripped of his garments and crucified for our sins.
  • The cupbearer who dreamed of 3 branches budding that was set free from prison after 3 days, while Joseph who was innocent remained a prisoner for another two whole years,
  • is a prophecy for the prisoners of sin who are set free by faith in Jesus resurrection after 3 days (in 30 to 33 AD), that began a 2000 year gospel age that will be completed in 2030 to 2033, followed by the 7 years of tribulation that will end in approximately 2037 to 2040.
2,000 Joseph chart 1.png

In addition to the prophetic timeline revealed in the story of Joseph, God has hidden 20 stories in the Bible that confirm there will be a 2,000 year gospel age that will be followed by the tribulation.

Job 33:14 For God speaks in one way, and in two (in the scriptures), though man does not perceive it.

If the tribulation ends in 2037 to 2040, the generation that was born in 1948 when Israel became a nation will be 89 to 92 years old when Jesus returns to save a faithful remnant of his people at the end of the tribulation, Matthew 24:32-34.

90 years + Israel's birth in 1948 reveals the end of tribulation in 2038
After I recognized the possible years of 2037 to 2040 for the end of the tribulation, I read the story of when God destroyed Sodom that was followed by Isaac's birth from Abraham at 100 and Sarah at 90 when I had this peculiar questioning thought, is Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 a prophecy for Israel's birth in Christ when the nation is 90 years old in 2038, when God will destroy rebellious mankind just as he did in the days of Sodom? Luke 17:28-30

When I had this curious thought I searched the scriptures for the next several hours but found nothing that would answer my prophetic question concerning Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90. The next morning as my eyes opened I had this mysterious waking thought that I believe was given from the Lord, "read the story of the shepherd's 99 sheep."

Two or three related scriptures reveal a prophetic mystery
At this point its important to understand that God often connects one scriptural story with another through similar words, phrases or numbers so a hidden meaning or prophecy may be revealed.

For example the Word in John 1:1 is revealed by John 1:14. The birds of the air that sat in the mustard tree in Mat 13:31-32 is explained by Jesus in Mat 13:4, 19 and Eph 2:2. And the numbers 99 and 100 for the age of Abraham are mentioned in just one other the story, the Shepherd's 99 sheep and the 100th sheep that's lost, Genesis 17:1, 17, Matthew 18:12.
  • Therefore the years of 99 and 100 for Abraham and 90 for his barren wife Sarah, are God's numerical clues that connect the story of Isaac's birth to the Shepherd's 99 righteous sheep and the 100th sheep that's lost, and a woman who had 9 silver coins and 1 that's lost (Luke 15:3-10),
  • that reveals the 100th lost sheep is symbolic for the lost sheep of Israel in the tribulation (Mat 10:6, Rom 11:25-27), when the barren wife of God represented by the 144,000 (Rev 12:13-17, 14:1-5, Jer 2:2-3) will declare the gospel that gives birth to the promised sons like Isaac by faith, when end-time Israel is 90 years old in the last year of the tribulation in 2038, Zechariah 12:9-10.
Isaiah 54:1-8 "Sing, O barren one (New Covenant Israel), who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who have not been in labor! For the children (born by faith in Jesus, Gal 4:19) of the desolate one (New Covenant Israel at 90 years of age) will be more (Zec 13:8-9) than the (unrighteous) children of her who is married (by the Old Covenant law)," says the LORD......(5) For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. (6) For the LORD has called you like a wife deserted and grieved in spirit, like a wife of youth when she is cast off, says your God. (7) For a brief moment I deserted you (Jer 3:8, 20), but with great compassion I will gather you (by grace in the tribulation). (8) In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you," says the LORD, your Redeemer.

Romans 9:6-8 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, (7) and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but "Through Isaac shall your offspring be named." (8) This means that its not the (unrighteous) children of the flesh (under the Old Covenant law) who are the children of God, but the children of the promise (declared righteous by faith in a New Covenant) are counted as offspring.

Galatians 4:28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise (born-again through faith in Christ).

The scriptures declare Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 by her faith in God's promise, represents the children of promise like Isaac who are born-again through faith in Jesus, Hebrews 11:11, Galatians 4:22-28.

Sarah 3.png

83 years + 1948, the tribulation begins in 2031
When I recognized Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 appeared to be a prophecy for Israel's salvation when the nation is 90 years old at the end of the tribulation in 2038, I wondered if the number 83 could be a prophetic clue for the first year of the tribulation in 2031.

It was shortly after this when I discovered 83 is mentioned just once in the story of Moses and Aaron when they first spoke against Pharaoh before God poured out the 10 plagues of judgment on Egypt.

Two witnesses pharaoh 2.png

Exodus 7:7 Now Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.

Moses and Aaron who confronted Pharaoh before the 10 plagues of judgment devastated Egypt, are types for the two witnesses who will speak against the Antichrist at the beginning of the tribulation, before God's judgments are poured out on unbelieving mankind, Revelation 11:1-14.

And Aaron's age of 83 that's intentionally being mentioned at this point in time when he first spoke to Pharaoh, is a hidden clue for the two witnesses who will confront the Antichrist in the first year of the tribulation at 83 years from 1948 in 2031.

Two wintess Rev.png

Aaron's age of 83 and Issac's birth when Sarah was 90 are two related prophecies that reveal it will be 83 and 90 years from Israel's birth as a nation in 1948, to when the 7 years of tribulation will take place from 2031 to 2038.

83 years.png

In Part 2, I discuss three important consecutive stories in John 4 and 5 that mention the numbers 2 days, 7th hour, 38, which are prophetic for the 2,000 year gospel age to the Gentiles followed by Israel's salvation from the point of death in the 7th year of the tribulation in 2038.

In Part 3, I examine Ezekiel 20:31 to 20:38 that reveal a prophetic outline for Israel in the tribulation from 2031 to 2038. And in Part 5, Psalms 83 and 90 are symbolic for the number of years from 1948 to when the tribulation will take place. Then in Part 6 and 7, I explain how Isaac's birth from Sarah at 90 is a prophecy for Israel's birth in Christ when the nation is 90 years old in 2038.

I also discuss the 'Ominous Sign of Four Blood Moons' in 2032 and 2033 that will appear just before God's wrath begins for unbelieving mankind in in the last 5 years of the tribulation, Genesis 45:6, Joel 2:31-32, Revelation 6:12-17.

Even though the time-frame for the tribulation is deeply hidden in the Bible, there's an abundance of evidence throughout the scriptures pointing to the years of 2031 to 2038 when it will soon take place.

When the fig tree blossoms you will know that summer is near
Jesus said "no one knows the day or hour" when the tribulation will begin. However he also said "when you see the fig tree (Israel) blossom (into a nation) you will know that summer is near," (the tribulation). Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place, Matthew 24:32-34.

Fig 2.png

The fig tree that blossoms (Hosea 9:10) in spring represents Israel's birth in the spring May 14, 1948 (Isaiah 66:8), that's revealing the season of summer's intense heat is near when there will be a great end-time harvest of saints followed by the fierce heat of God's tribulation wrath for wicked mankind, Revelation 14:14-19.

Revelation 16:8-9 The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was allowed to scorch people with fire. (9) They were scorched by the fierce heat, and they cursed the name of God who had power over these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.

Amos 8:1-2 This is what the Lord GOD showed me: behold, a basket of summer fruit. (2) And he said, "Amos, what do you see?" And I said, "A basket of summer fruit." Then the LORD said to me, "The end has come upon my people Israel; I will never again pass by them.

Jeremiah 8:20 "The harvest (of saints) is past, the summer (of God's tribulation wrath for wicked mankind) is ended, and we are not saved."

Sun.png

There are numerous prophecies pointing to the approximate time when summer will be near, that is the years when the tribulation will soon take place. However the scriptures do not reveal the exact day or hour when God's tribulation judgment will begin for unbelieving mankind, Matthew 24:32-36.

Israels 70 weeks of transgression
Just as God revealed to Jeremiah that Israel's captivity would end after 70 years in Babylon, the Lord has also revealed when Israel's 70 weeks of transgression will be completed at the end of the tribulation, Jeremiah 29:10-11.

In the book of Daniel Israel's 70 weeks of transgression represents a period of 70 x 7 years, or 490 years that began when Artaxerxes allowed the people of Israel to rebuild Jerusalem, Daniel 9:24-25, Nehemiah 2:1-8, Ezra 7:12-26.

And from the decree of Artaxerxes in 445 BC to when Jesus (the anointed one) came to Jerusalem to die on the cross was a period of 483 years or 69 x 7, which leaves one 7 year period of transgression for Israel to fulfill.

Now its interesting this final 7 year period of transgression for Israel is from the end of the 483rd year to the 490th year, which is mysteriously similar to the tribulation that will take place in the 4 corners of the world at 83 to 90 years from 1948.

The gematria for the word 'perfect' is 490, and the number 7 also represents perfection. When Israel's 490th year of transgression is completed after 7 years of tribulation in 2038, a remnant of the Jews will be set free from their captivity to sin when they will declared righteous and perfect (gematria 490) through faith in Jesus who was pierced for their sins, Zechariah 12:9-10, 13:8-9, Psalms 22:16, Isaiah 53:5.

Since the end-time signs are confirming the tribulation is drawing near the important question is, do you want to study the scriptures for yourself so your eyes may be opened by the Spirit to recognize these hidden prophecies that are revealing when God's tribulation judgment will soon take place for unbelieving mankind?

Study.png

Ecclesiastes 7:24 That which has been (in the events of the past) is far off (and prophetic of the future), and deep (deeply hidden in scripture), very deep; who can find it out?

Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings is to search it out.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Is it possible the exact year when the tribulation will end is being concealed in the scriptures that we do not yet recognize, just as the disciples were blinded to the scriptures and did not recognize that Jesus came to die on cross as Israel's suffering Messiah? Luke 18:31-34.

In the book of Genesis the Lord told Abraham that his offspring would be servants and suffer affliction in a land not their own (Genesis 15:13) for a total of 400 years. And this 400 year period of time was fulfilled when Moses delivered Israel from their bondage to Pharaoh after 430 years in Egypt and Canaan, Exodus 12:40 (Septuagint), Acts 7:6-7.

And in the book of Daniel the angel Gabriel said there would be a period of 483 years from the decree of Artaxerxes when the anointed one (Jesus) would come to Jerusalem and be killed but not for himself, Daniel 9:25-26.

Over and over again the Lord has revealed in his Word the exact number of years for when Israel's servitude and captivity would end. And when you consider this prophetic fact its reasonable to assume the specific year for when Israel will be set free from their slavery to sin at the end of the tribulation may be hidden in the scriptures that we are unable to recognize unless God opens our spiritually blinded eyes.

The scriptural stories that are symbolic for a 2000 year gospel age that began from Jesus resurrection in 30 to 33 AD point to the probable time-frame of 2037 to 2040 for when the last year of the tribulation will be fulfilled. And the possible last year of the tribulation in 2037, 2038, 2039 or 2040, may be hidden in some mysterious and cryptic story that we do not yet perceive.

If the tribulation ends in the 2037 to 2040 time-frame, the generation that was born in 1948 when Israel became a nation will be approximately 89 to 92 years old when Jesus returns. And its possible the number 89, 90, 91 or 92 that's mentioned in a story may be revealing how old this generation of 1948 will be at the end of the tribulation.

Even though no one knows the exact day or hour when the 7 years of tribulation will begin, God may have hidden in his Word the specific year when tribulation will end. Therefore if your eyes have been opened to see a scriptural clue or symbolic number that may represent the last year of the tribulation please share your thoughts.
The tribulation happened in 70 AD. It will be like in the days of Noah when Jesus returns. Marrying and giving in marriage. Much like today.

Nobody knows the times of the Tribulation. We are to be vigilant and watching while living like it will come tomorrow or in a 100 years.

Where are the two witnesses mentioned? Where is the mark of the beast mentioned and employed?
Where was the false prophet that all were commanded to bow down to.

It's all symbolic. If you look for the symbols to appear, you already missed much of what they represent.

No. Because the exact year will not be revealed and those who seek to find it or claim they have found are running smack into contradiction with the fact scripture tells us no one will know the day or time.
In the book of Genesis the Lord told Abraham... God also told Jeremiah... Over and over again the Lord has revealed...
And in the case of the tribulation Jesus plainly stated the generation to whom he was speaking would see it.

And they did.

Matthew 24:32-41
"Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left."[/I]

Note: In the days of Noah it was those who were taken away that were destroyed. It was those who remained who were saved.

Lord Jesus told the disciples that as it was in the days of Noah.....
So, look there. Noah knew the exact day the flood would come.

I disagree. Revelation may be a book of symbols, riddles and metaphors... but it is not all symbolic. IMO.

Yes, Noah knew the day exactly. And Ecclesiastes gives us a hint.
Read Gen. 7 when God is talking to Noah. And this
Ecc.1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Sorry, I don't see where you get, from this, that Noah knew the day that the flood would start..

I bet he got a pretty good idea when all the animals started to show up though..

In any case, the phrase "as it was in the days of Noah" IMO pertains to people being evil in there thoughts all the time, people being selfish, people being prideful, people turning from God in masses, corruption in everything, and God saying "ENOUGH".

No, we will not know the day or the hour... but we will certainly know when it is getting close.. Take a look around.

Maranatha.

Since Jesus said that the generation he was addressing would not pass until "all these things take place" and his prophecy was specific to the destruction of the temple, I think we can pretty well determine that the great tribulation he spoke of ended in AD 74.

Nothing like what is prophesied in Revelation, happened in the first century.
It was the second 'swing of the Sword' against Judah. Ezekiel 21:14 The third judgment punishment of Judah is imminent, it will be the Lord Himself who will send fire, Amos 2:4-5

As for the year of when the Great Tribulation ends and Jesus Returns, Hosea 6:2 and Luke 13:32 tell us, it will be 2000 years [one day to God in heaven equals 1000 earth years.] from the commencement of Jesus Ministry in 29.5 AD until He Returns for His Millennium reign.

The reason most people don't recognize the historical things that have taken place which were prophecied in Revelation is because they interpret it literally. If we're to take the prophecy literally, then it's true that all the dead martyrs are underneath an altar somewhere in heaven and they're constantly crying out for vengeance, Jesus was literally holding the stars in his hand and Polycarp was a lampstand.

Be that as it may, it is not relevant to the scripture being discussed. Revelation is not a continuation of Jesus prophecy in Luke 18 and Matt. 24. Jesus said that the great tribulation would occur before that generation passed. You can accept what he said or inappropriately try to connect that prophecy with Revelation which itself says "must shortly take place."

Likely, most everything, except the judgement day, has already occurred. If you don't trust the time passages in scripture, then every time statement by God is suspect including the 400 years or so that he told Abraham would pass before his people were brought of Egypt.

one day to God in heaven equals 1000 earth years

Peter was not giving bible readers the keys to a cipher. He was trying to comfort church members who were confused that their prayers weren't being answered right away. He was giving hyperbole to remind them that God worked in his own time not theirs.

If you're going to be that ridiculous, then the Daniel prophecy wasn't to come to pass in 490 years but 490,000 years.

The time passages of God have to be respected.

Sure; there are many prophesies that are not to be fulfilled literally, but the explanation is usually given elsewhere or can be discerned from our modern knowledge.
Prophesies like Isaiah 30:26a are a clear statement of a factual event, still to happen.

If people like to spiritualize the prophesies, for whatever reason, then who has the authority to say what will be literal and what we can safely ignore?

That is your opinion.
But we have two witnesses to the formula of one day in heaven is the same as 1000 earth years. Psalms 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8
It is surely a given; that time to God cannot be the same as we experience. He is Eternal.

The end of the 6000th year period will be soon and much will happen before Jesus Returns for the final 1000 years of Gods Plan for mankind. Expect huge changes soon and be ready to stand firm in your faith through it all.

So...the kingdom of Assyria has yet to be destroyed?

If people like to spiritualize the prophesies, for whatever reason, then who has the authority to say what will be literal and what we can safely ignore?

The things that occurred were not necessarily spiritual but they were written in figurative language. The prophecy in Daniel 9 doesn't need to be spiritualized. It was the prophecy of Jesus' arrival and establishment of his kingdom. It was a spiritual kingdom to be sure, but he did come, he did get "cut off" and the kingdom came. A kingdom that will never be destroyed. And it came in exactly the time frame that was allotted for it.

That is your opinion.

It is surely a given; that time to God cannot be the same as we experience. He is Eternal.

And that was the point of David's writing. God is eternal. Time is of no consequence to him. But when he talks to men, he lays out time periods of the events he's foretelling because we are men and time matters to us. Besides which, if prophecies with time attached to them do not take place in the time he speaks, then he can't be trusted. So it is of the utmost importance that we accept his stated times.

As in,
"This generation shall not pass until all these things take place."
"Some of you standing here will not taste death until all these things come to pass."
"70 weeks are determined for your people and your city"
"Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years."

Not one of those could or should be interpreted with this cipher of 1 day = 1000 years or the other way around. It doesn't work with the fulfilled prophecy where time periods are given, and thus for prophecy that is alleged to yet be unfulfilled it would be folly to attempt to interpret the time passages except as they are given.

The end of the 6000th year period will be soon and much will happen before Jesus Returns for the final 1000 years of Gods Plan for mankind. Expect huge changes soon and be ready to stand firm in your faith through it all.

Jesus is not returning to rule on an earthly throne.

"My kingdom is not of this world."

If it wasn't of this world when he spoke those words, then it can never be. That word he used there is a possessive pronoun. It's HIS kingdom. And his kingdom will never be destroyed and it will never end. If it ever were to be on earth, then it wouldn't be a heavenly kingdom.

The people who have pushed this earthly kingdom stuff have literally interpreted Revelation and in so doing have rejected his words about this and John's statement that the vision was "signified by His angel" and which must "shortly come to pass." Same thing that people do with Daniel 9 by inventing a gap that is never mentioned in the text. 70 weeks were determined, 70 weeks passed. A rejection of the time passage. Arguing with God and his words.
