Funny, I've seen laser beam tests done by both camps... the one done by the discovery channel was a mess of edits and errors in continuity...

Look it up.. it got torn to shreds by the people out there that actually test stuff like this... and.. get different answers.

Also, can you show any evidence that the curve was taken into account when digging the tunnel. There are lots of surveyor testimony that this is only found in text books and never actually used in the field..

Look that up too... I've been down this road and found no conclusive evidence for either camp to plant a flag in as winner.

You seem a little taken with the idea of lasers, but they were not part of the engineering of the tunnel - nor of those eighteenth century canals of course.
Of course if you do not believe that the Channel tunnel took account of the earth's curvature you only have to ask the engineers on the project. They say they did, and what possible reason would there be to lie about it?

The hidden height at that distance on the globe model should be 43,848 ft. YET IT IS VISIBLE.

The hidden height at that distance on the globe model should be 43,848 ft. YET IT IS VISIBLE.

I've seen too many examples of flat earthers having their measurements wrong to spend my time on this.

Get a flat earthers together with a non-biased witness (like in Behind the Curve) ... and I'll give it some consideration ...

Watch the video, all the measurements are right up front straight off Google maps. The angles are verified showing it all lines up.

All of the measurements don't come from google maps ... for instance, the height of the camera.

For that, I have to depend upon the presenter. That's why confirmable scientific observations always have unbiased observers ...

Or that the people who wrote the Bible were people of their time and place. In the Ancient Near East, many peoples had a similar cosmology. A flat earth surmounted by a solid vaulted ceiling/firmament

If that image is of the island you say it is, how come we can't also see Corsica?
