CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And that's due to the phone call which had Biden's name in it. If Biden hadn't done anything wrong, he wouldn't have been talked about in the phone call, and the "whistleblower" wouldn't have had something to use.

Sorry, but the fact that Biden wants to be president is just being used as an excuse for whatever Biden may have done. Running for president doesn't give him a shield against being investigated. In fact, it should make him even more subject to being investigated, as we all no doubt have have noticed by now.

Then you should support removing Trump from office -- look at all those times his name has come up in various investigations. If he was innocent, obviously his name wouldn't keep coming up!

And here we are discussing how Trump has "attacked one of his political rivals" in a phone call.

And Biden's name often comes up when Trump speaks. Just accept you misspoke and can't defend it and move on; obviously a name coming up in the context of an investigation does not imply guilt -- particularly when they've previously been cleared of wrongdoing.

Fine, through the proper channels (ones without a political motivation), re-investigate Biden. The issue is, the Ukraine has little good knowledge of if Biden committed a crime -- that information is in the US. Either Biden "invented" this scheme and, on his own, used the condition of firing the prosecutor for the Ukraine getting the loan or he was an envoy sent by the US government. It should be easy to check records, review documents, and interview the various government workers to find out where the idea came from, who supported the plan, and the exact reasons for demanding the Ukraine work on cleaning up corruption (including firing the prosecutor) before issuing the loan. The Ukraine can not give us that information.

Why? The prosecutor actually was corrupt, the US wanted him out, our allies wanted him out. Hunter Biden had joined the board of Burisma as part of their cleanup and the investigation of them had been fallow for over a year when Shokin was ousted. So why should the VP be investigated except as a distraction and revenge?

Your question being:
It depends on which polls you rely on to determine who is the front runner opponent. Many of them say it's Warren who is the front runner. Also keep in mind that it's 13 months until the election and way too soon for Trump to spend any real effort investigating any of them at this time. Biden has been making too many mistakes at this point to be called a clear front runner or the most likely to be elected in 13 months.
