FE and Climate change are totally unconnected. Both are theories. Both are debated. Both have people backing and denouncing them using science...but.. totally different topics.
Ok, last response to you bc I'm not fond of repeating myself or having fruitless conversations.
Once again, yes climate change denial and belief that the Earth is flat
are connected though they're two separate issues. The bridge between them are the attitudes about both. Both are
science denialism, anti-intellectualism. There are a few people who only adhere to one form of science denialism but
frequently there's an overlap, either with these 2 specifically or a combination of 2 or more other conspiracy theories / pseudosciences (that man and dinosaurs walked alongside one another; AV, etc).
With both there are exceptionally few who are actually qualified professional scientists who denounce either. With both it's common for legitimate work to be quote-mined dishonestly. With both there's legions of armchair believers who go by YouTube and old-school social media for their "support" of their beliefs.
Second... If you had taken the time to look into my view, on the FE, a bit further.. you would see that I am not a believer in the FE.. just a searcher of truth. I find problems with both models.
Lol. Quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, smells like a duck. I already squandered time looking into your "FE" views in the Conspiracy Theory section.
This is deflecting the fact that you attacked me about a totally different topic and an erroneous assumption of my stance on that subject. All based on other threads and used in an attempt to discredit anything I say. Or, group me with people that, in your opinion are in error.
Oh please. I'm not deflecting anything. I never attacked you in any manner whatsoever. If you thought I had the mature & appropriate response would be to report the post, not "flame in turn", which you unequivocally did.
I think it's completely reasonable to be weary of any adult who thinks that he is "searching for the truth" about whether the Earth is flat & favours conspiracy theories.
Well things aren't always what we expect.
Though they often are.
I would disagree. People of high intelligence and with a lot of education have widely varying opinions on many subjects and topics.
Uh huh. That's a sleight of hand. Very few people of high intelligence who have a lot of education on climate change have a denialist stance. Very, very few people of high intelligence who have a lot of education are skeptical of the facts showing that the Earth is not flat.
I don't doubt that.. Not everyone in the years beyond 50 agree on all topics.. Surprisingly enough.. even in our elder years... there are disagreements.
Lol, we all very well know that not everyone beyond 50 agrees on all topics. Again, there's very little disagreement between the basic facts of climate change between climate scientists.
Is this supposed to be some sort of support for your view?
It's a support of my view about your posts & your attitude overall.
