when a married couple decides no more children
Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.
And here I am having left Catholicism.Look it up. What's the purpose of marriage? Same goes for sterilizing a man. Are you open to life or are you not? I'm a convert to Catholicism. Your best bet is to look it up in the Catechism. We do not even use birth control. The Duggars seem to be the Protestant version of we believe as far as being fruitful and open to life. In the first half of the last century in both the USA and Canada many states and provinces bought wholeheartedly into eugenics. They were supported in this by many Protestant denominations. Laws were passed to permit the forced sterilization of those deemed to be mentally defective or criminals. Some of these laws are still on the books.
