Can i just look at a church name and assume they only read the KJV?
I would say no. I have shared with what I think were fundamental independent Baptists, and they used other translation work during Bible study.
What matters is the message and ministry which comes from the translation they use.
There are King James people who may talk mainly about how everyone else is wrong, and they might not say one word about how the Holy Spirit conforms us to the image of Jesus. And they might not say one word about how we all are "called in one body" to obey how our Heavenly Father personally rules every one of us in His own peace > Colossians 3:15. And they might not talk about how the Bible says to relate in God's love >
"without complaining and disputing" > Philippians 2:13-16
"swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath" > in James 1:19
"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:31-32)
If any independent fundamentalist King James person ever told me we need to forgive each other "even as God" > I was not listening.
And we have how our Apostle Paul has been ministering for every person to be perfected in Jesus > Colossians 1:28-29 < so, I would say, a legitimate King James ministry will mainly be busy with ministering us to be perfected in Christ, I would say.
So, in case ones are mainly and all the time criticizing people who speak in tongues, and claiming others don't have the right Bible > this is misguiding attention. And if all they do is talk about getting saved, but they do not talk about becoming perfected in Jesus, they are taking what is not a shortcut to Heaven.
And there are ones who glorify free will, but they do not talk about how God's grace in us changes us to be and love like Jesus.
So, I would say pay attention to what a minister is emphasizing and how the person is leading your attention.
