I am sure that the Mormons and Muslims and Pentecostals and those of Church of Christ and on and so forth will follow the guidance of Joshua as well.

By "Joshua" do you mean the Savior?

What if the Holy Spirit told you to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Satan tries to persuade people of false teaching. The Holy Spirit NEVER does.

What? "Thought push"?

It's kind of like when Christians pray, but they don't really trust God to do it, so they push the idea with their will when praying. These prayers don't actually reach God, but quite often reach the target as a psychic attack.

Nice bunny, so you're a discordian?

That's a bunch of ___! False prophets such as yours lead people away from Christ.
I quoted directly from the Bible. You must think the bible is a bunch of _____! Ephesians 4 is right on target and for you to say it is a bunch of ____!, is to have your head in the sand and be willing to rip certain scriptures right out of the bible. Good luck with that.

Recently, I've noticed the psychic abilities of Mormons after a heated discussion.

Try not to let it get under your skin, it plays to it.
"it" plays to it?

We are not trying to get under anyone's skin, we are here to explain why we believe what we believe. Why are you here?

I've never heard of this.

Ephesians Chapter 4 says nothing about Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, or any other false prophet. It doesn't say there are three gods you ought to follow or that if you join the Mormon church, you'll have the information you need to be saved.

We don't need luck --- we need JESUS. The Bible is NOT a bunch of hooey --- Mormonism is.

Mormonism:

. We’ll sing of his goodness and mercy.
We’ll praise him by day and by night,
Rejoice in his glorious gospel,
And bask in its life-giving light.
Thus on to eternal perfection
The honest and faithful will go,
While they who reject this glad message
Shall never such happiness know.

We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet

I read my Bible, prayed to the True God, and the Holy Spirit told me to continue searching. Proverbs 3:5-6. God would show me the path to follow.

Christian I am the way John14-6_banner.png

John 6
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

More Mormonism:

Hail to the Prophet, ascended to heaven!
Traitors and tyrants now fight him in vain.
Mingling with Gods, he can plan for his brethren;
Death cannot conquer the hero again.
Praise to the Man

Ephesians 4 tells us why Jesus need apostles and prophets for the
Church of Jesus Christ of First-century Saints. If you don't understand Ephesians 4 you cannot understand anything in the bible. Because this scripture says that it is the apostles and prophets and others that can teach us of Jesus, do the work of the ministry and bring us to the measure of the stature of Jesus Christ. Without them, it is mute, and apostasy starts us down a road to half truths and being tossed to and from with every wind of doctrine, which has caused 3500 different Christian churches to exist on the earth today.

Read Epesians 4 many times, especially verses 11-14. This is why the Mormon position is so strong.

Wow. Never saw that particular Mormon hymn. Innnnteresting.

For while one saith, "I am of Paul"; and another, "I am of Apollos"; are ye not carnal? (1 Corinthians 3:4)
What is so interesting? Isn't that what your church is all about. Getting the message out. And if one decides to reject this glad message, will never such happiness know. Isn't that what you are all about too. If not it should be. Your message may be a little different than ours, but it will include Jesus as the centerpiece, and so that message is important to get out to the world. Hope your missionary program is having success.

He is in the spirit world influencing those on earth to get the earth ready for the 2nd coming of Christ. If you don't want to go there, don't, but you will be out.

Your view of what comes after death is bogus.

You have a false view of what happens to false prophets. Do not be deceived!
