I heard that there are animals that defy evolution such as the giraffes. There are things are that defy evolution such as why there are females or why higher supposed evolve creatures have evolved developed two different genders?
I have my own theory. It is based on our common old enemy: crocodile. There have been recent studies and fossils that show them evolving their teeth and jaws, but not why they can’t chew meats? It shows unintelligent design or maybe they weren’t suppose to eat meat? If God design all animals to be vegans, the crocodile wouldn’t need to change or evolve since it dismembers his prey apart by rolling around.

fruit bats have some pretty nasty looking teeth...and eat fruit.

Good news - as a Christian, you do not need to read the Genesis scientifically and believe in a young earth where animals were created from nothing by popping up like popcorn.

The main things you need to accept and believe as a Christian are recorded in the apostolic and nicene creeds (plus few other things like the Trinity and similar). The rest is in the area of freedom.

What pieces of physical evidence have you heard about that would indicate this?

There are things are that defy evolution such as why there are females or why higher supposed evolve creatures have evolved developed two different genders?

The evolution of sexual reproduction is VERY well documented and not considered a "pr" for evolution at all.

Also, there really isn't a higher/lower in evolutionary biology, unless you're talking about phylogenetic distance.

Crocodilian evolution is also very well documented. Nothing about their evolution suggests any design, or that they were vegan.

If its "good enough" for a given environment, the process of evolution doesn't care (for want of a better term) if a solution is inelegant or a kludge. All that matters is the ongoing survival and reproductive success of that population.

So swallowing meat whole works for crocodilians, because there's no selection pressure for anything else to develop. If the environment was structured whereby a different jaw/teeth combination offered an advantage, then natural selection would go into action.

Tell us about the fall and original sin using evo-theory.

Before we start with the animals, we need to answer origin first.

Torrential rains fell upon inorganic rock matter and cause it to form the first single cell organism. That's what the textbooks say.

Actually let's go even before that........everything came from nothing in 1 billionth (or so) of a second (big bang/scam theory).

Do you see how ridiculous it is? We don't even need to discuss about crocodile teeth.

I think you might be paraphrasing a little too much there.

The "Rocks absorb oxygen" and "First life" are separate things. There is no indication on the chart of how life started.

And a very dense, very hot region smaller than a period on a page is not "nothing". How would nothing be very dense and very hot?

Oh, did you actually observe that or are you believing by faith? Did we always have 3 dimensions or was it created after the big bang? Maybe it was 2d before.

Nonsense.

I was only commenting on your odd interpretation of some textbook entries. Why do you think that this "nothing" would be very hot and very dense?

It's one of the claims creationists need to put Creation(TM) on a par with science. They assert "Science says everything came from nothing", which is actually what the Bible says. If they admit that "Science says everything came from something" they get themselves in an awful pickle.

In a suspiciously similar thread,

Animals that or things that defy evolution

Deborah D pointed out the following article:

Incredible Creatures That Defy Evolution

Which includes:

"There is the giraffe, whose long neck necessitates a powerful heart to pump blood all the way to the brain. By rights the blood flow should blow its brains out when it bends to drink water, but the lofty animal has a delicate series of spigots and a sponge that dissipate and absorb the rush of blood."

mathinspiration was probably going off something like this.

Why would anyone try explaining religion with science?
You do fully understand there are some who are trying to destroy the foundation of christianity using "science". The ironic part is some "christians" have bought into it...then can't explain the fall and original sin.

But, your an atheist so i doubt you would understand.

Sounds like you think it's just a big conspiracy theory...

Although when it first started evolving the mechanisms to cope with that, it wasn't trying to evolve them to deal with the modern neck, it was doing it to deal with the shorter neck it had at the time. And then the mechanisms continued to evolve as the neck continued to grow.
