Long sigh.

Oh spare me. When you can address what I've already posted then you feign exasperation.

When will you explain how mutations add up?

I asked you to clarify what you mean by this because it's so vague as to be meaningless. Again, are you asking for specific lists of mytations or what?

You see USincognito, for a trend to evolve lots of mutations are required. In the animals progeny a second, third, fourth..etc....mutation has to occur in the organisms DNA that effects the evolving trend in a way that it enhances the fitness of the trend. Considering the large size of the DNA (3-3.5 billion base pairs in humans) and the extreme rarity of so called beneficial mutations the ability for the information to increase and the trend to evolve...especially to the level of complexity and sophistication we see today renders descent with modification impossible.

Copy and pasting an appeal to incredulity is not an indication that you understand the points I have already made nor does it clarify the vague question you are asking.

It’s always worth a chuckle when creationists who are wholly ignorant of evolution, are so sure why it “doesn’t work.” This is what happens when uneducated people watch creo videos and think they have a special book. The lulz ensue.

Ok little buddy.

Let me know when you have something more than a creo video and a bible. The entire whole of academia might be interested.

Genesis 1:27-30

29Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit contains seed. They will be yours for food. 30And to every beast of the earth and every bird of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth—everything that has the breath of life in it—I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.…

There were no carnivores before the fall.

After the fall of mankind, everything on earth was adversely effected (including the earth itself) and became subject to corruption and violence.

Genesis 6

11Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence. 12And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creatures on the earth had corrupted their ways.

The point of the flood was to end violence/corruption on earth that was going on at that time.

Genesis 6

13Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.

Genesis 6

19And you are to bring two of every living thing into the ark—male and female—to keep them alive with you. 20Two of every kind of bird and animal and crawling creature will come to you to be kept alive. 21You are also to take for yourself every kind of food that is eaten and gather it as food for yourselves and for the animals.”

God sent to Noah all the land animals He wanted to survive the flood and the land dinosaurs were not among them and therefore were destroyed in the flood.

All what the Lord wanted to be destroyed in the flood, in fact were destroyed.

Ararat was a post flood event.
But it must have formed immediately after the flood in order for the Ark to land on it, right? So a volcano more than 16,000 ft high with a volume of 280 cubic miles formed and cooled down in a span of about 200 days. Plausible?

Can you quote me where the bible says the ark landed on Mt Ararat?

And so it will be again ... this time destroyed by eternal fire.

Matthew 24:37

Revelation 21

4He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5And the One seated on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.”Then He said, “Write this down, for these words are faithful and true.

Isaiah 11

He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth
and slay the wicked with the breath of His lips.
5Righteousness will be the belt around His hips,
and faithfulness the sash around His waist.

6The wolf will live with the lamb,
and the leopard will lie down with the goat;
the calf and young lion and fatling will be together,
and a little child will lead them.
7The cow will graze with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8The infant will play by the cobra’s den,
and the toddler will reach into the viper’s nest.

9They will neither harm nor destroy
on all My holy mountain,
for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the sea is full of water.

Eden will be restored/recreated as the Lord had originally created before the fall and all will be in perfect harmony and for eternity! AMEN!

Is that a trick question? Genesis 8:4: "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat". The Ararat massif consists of several peaks, so "mountains" is not wrong.

It seems to me that landing at the base of the mountains would count as landing on the mountains.

I wonder why it matters so badly to academia where the Ark landed?

(Actually I don't.)

Maybe, but then according to the bible that means that all water tens of thousand feet deep must have dried away in a week. Plausible?

I should call you Mr Bojangles as you're dancing nicely around the question.
I think we can all agree that you've done nothing but show a colossal misunderstanding of ToE. So what's next?

Maybe you should start a thread where you show that NASA is lying, and satellites don't exist?

Plausible, no, but when magic is involved, you can get away with anything. The whole flood thing is implausible. If you accept the flood for the sake of argument in the first place, you should be flexible with the details.

We're dealing with entirely two different epistemologies, and never the twain shall meet.

We expect them to value reasoned evidence, and they expect us to accept a myth. It's apples to oranges, and on it goes...

I think it is more akin to comparing prokaryotes to eukaryotes, and the prokaryotes are extremophiles.
