Can I judge for 1 second people? Am I the only one that feels uneasy watching all the God fearing people running around in expensive SUV's, trucks and luxury cars? Please people buy cheaper cars and put the extra 100$, 200$ or whatever and sponsor a bunch of malnourished kids in Africa.

"I give my 10% leave me alone". No I'm not going to leave you alone! You give the absolute minimum to a Church that entertains you and does a couple mission trips here and there. But what about Christ's words in Matthew 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

Stop investing in self and invest in eternity, you'll be glad you did!!!!

I'm going to guess you don't live in a state that gets much snow. In states where we have actual winter, the all-wheel drive and the higher ground clearance make a big difference.

Exactly!!! I had a car without AWD and winters were scary sometimes. I would be sliding all the way home from work some days. I was kind of proud of my car that it had made it through so many winters, but I did have one incident where I hit the side of a snowbank and spun around in the road and into a hill...

I do prefer sedans over SUVs, so when I was looking for a new car I was happy to find a sedan with AWD and a 6 cylinders engine, too. It is a luxury version, but I got it used for a really good price because it had a dangerous airbag installed. The free replacement at the dealer was more than worth it.

So I guess people may look at my car and, knowing I'm a Christian, think "How dare he spend all that money on himself instead of giving it to the church or to missionaries! Wouldn't a less expensive car have been good enough?" But that would be a very big assumption. I probably spent less than a lot of people who don't have luxury cars.

My old car was exactly that. It had rust issues and was getting all kinds of odd idiosyncrasies like the windshield wipers randomly turning on when I turned the steering wheel to the left. I think it was developing electrical issues. And people were also starting to recognize my car wherever I went, so it was time to move on! ^_^
