That was the only time I got told off by the Lord. He said to me, "Don't ever do that again until I tell you that you can!" That was 1970. He has never opened the door for me to have a deliverance ministry to this day, 49 years later. Even when I read every book I could on spiritual warfare and learned heaps about it - the good, bad, and the ugly, and the right and wrong ways to go about it, He still has not opened any doors of ministry in that area; in fact, although many people with medical conditions have come across my path for me to pray with them, I have never had one demon manifest in front of me for me to use what I learned about spiritual warfare.
Dont you all know that everyone on this thread is correct? Therefore there is no reason to try and convince the other side that they are wrong.....because they arent. What a man thinketh so is he. If you believe God doesnt heal or doesnt heal at your request or only sometimes......you are correct! It will be unto you as you believe..... You will not be healed every time you ask....and you may or may not be healed whenever you choose to ask for it.
Those who believe God does heal every time you ask.....you are correct....be it unto you as you believe. Enjoy your health. And do not boast concerning this gift......as the Lord giveth and He can take away....
So everyone is right....Everyone is receiving what they believe and getting the desires of their heart. Who are we to tell the other that they should want or desire something other than they want and desire?
Blind men asked Jesus to give them their sight....."and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?" The men then had to make a choice...... It just so happened that they answered.... "Yea, Lord" And only after this, did Jesus heal them.
We are all free to answer as we choose......and all should be allowed to make this choice without judgement.
No.
Some are asking for a single proof and until that happens, your comments are most certainly part of the fantasy.
If you heard him prophesy and heal the sick, you would use that as more reason to say he was born again, yet the savior states that people who do these things can be unknown by Him.
There is no benefit in judging another's salvation......
Why you need proof, God heals, i think God wants to do a lot more than we see today, and the more we believe in God the better. If we want to see proof then we better start believing more with the help of God we will see something, God does great things.
Because these are men making claims, they are not God or Jesus. If you want to put your absolute faith in men then do it, I will not. Just the fact you have to ask that is amazing to me.
Of course the almighty can heal through men, but after all my asking for proof, watching their reaction, and some telling me the very shaky things they see as proof, the conveniently unanswered sensible questions towards them, it simply does not add up.
Then there is this very thread, and what it's about, where the OP should have been able to immediately come back and at least claim there was a healing because as I recall back in the day, the healing were done immediately. I've already commended to OP for stepping up to the plate and doing the right thing here, but as you can see, days later (again it should have been done immediately) nothing.
And we can make excuses for that and other things all day long, but in the end, not one iota of proof has been offered. Christ himself preformed healing in the the home town of those needing healing, where they lived for many yrs and everyone knew they had an ailment, meaning he proved his healing, so it's not like it's an unreasonable expectation/request.
There is a biblical test to prove a prophet is what he claims to be, and it's as simple as: If what he claims comes to pass, he is, and if it does not, he is not, and so far we've nothing come to pass. That also proves it's reasonable to expect to see proof.
Anyone can make a claim, but as of yet, that's all they are. Any one here that chooses to be gullible, and not take common sense/biblical reasoning to heart, will be, but I would be very careful lest you end up caught up in a delusion.
I guess I'm just a hopeless realist, and it bothers me when people go out into la la land, and believe something that they have no good reason to believe, simply because they want to. I just don't think that is healthy for the professed Christian...it can only be harmful.
That's why.

You mean see something that isn't there like you all? No, God has nothing to do with that mess, it's his opposite that is responsible for making people see things.
Your meaning there is it's the lack of my belief that is the problem, an extremely common, and low down trick designed to blame those that rightfully insist upon proof.
However, God has helped me, he's helped me "see something"...the truth.
God can heal and i believe still heals today is all i say,
And as I state in my post.. You are correct....to you it is fantasy and not true....... For those who believe ....it is real.
Proof is for those who serve a different god
I don't accuse you of unbelief, we all lack faith in some area. Don't get offended please.
What i believe is God can do a lot more in our lifes, and we should desire to see more, this kind of christian life that doesn't want to see anything from God is not good, i'm not talking of healings only but of everything.

No offense take at all, though you did say that, I've no doubt about it.
What? I'd love to see it, where did you get the idea I do not?? And if you are not taking about healing you are confusing the issue because that's what this is about...are they healing or are thy not, nothing more.
The healing is already paid for. We are just waiting for the manifestation to arrive.God can heal and i believe still heals today is all i say, i don't know if this person johnny was talking about is going to be healed, i just don't say he won't. I hope he can be healed, we are not trying to work against this kind of thing do we.
