That chart is meaningless rubbish created by crazy imagination of a ivory tower atheist. It's really meaningless, think about it...you think that chart is proof of something??

The earth has seen a history of floods, fires, and landscape changes...oceans are in places where they weren't before etc. It's very easy to fossilize bones, does not require millions of years.

Just because you find a hoove bone and a whale bone in the same pile of dirt, doesn't mean anything. You can interpret that multiple ways (it should be used to form a hypothesis and test it).

You were not there to see the "missing link" (if it even survived and reproduced).....this is all based on assumptions and outright fraud...none of it should be "science".

Do you know what the word "kind" means?

Wolf, dog, coyote are the same "kind"...they reproduce after their own kind....they are not going to turn into a elephant, no matter what rubbish $cientists say and no matter how many useless bones you find in the dirt.

Genesis 1:24-25:
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Speaking of dirt - do you believe that Jehovah breathed into dust of the ground and a fully formed adult human male popped out?

I mean, THAT is some serious rubbish right there....

But look at the rubbish you believe.....everything in the universe coming instantly from something smaller than a dot in 1 billionth of a second.

That is more rubbish than the possibility of having a creator.

You wouldn't see a building and say it created itself. It had to have a designer.

first off I’m not an atheist. Religious beliefs have nothing to do with science . Second of all , “ Where you there? “ is one of the stupidest answers you can give to a scientist as you don’t have to be physically present to accurately figure out what happened. Bones can be mineralized in a relatively short time but the scientific definition of fossil means that it’s older than 10,000 years old. The chart is a brief summary of over 300 years of anatomical and developmental work involving 1000s of life scientists By the way the correct singular of hooves is hoof.

. Elephants are Proboscidea they aren’t closely related to any of the Carnivora let alone the caniform ( dogs and their relatives) Carnivora . So no scientist is going to tell you that elephants turn into dogs or vice versa . I decided to just answer you rather than give you a flippant quip. ...... but I was tempted ;)

I am not a biologist, but the interpretation must be along the lines of "the ancestral animal, itself descended from fish, had legs and lost them over time as it became more perfectly adapted to life in water."

Evolution doesn't just "add" legs.

Legs evolved out of fins, typically in fish living in very shallow water. The fins could be used as a means of 'walking' the fish along the bottom as well as propelling it through the water.

. What was the point of showing me a science illiterate spouting off ?

Illiterate? Please give the man some credit, he speaks more than 5 languages.

We believe in real science: observable, testable, repeatable. Big Scam Theory and Evolution are none of those things.

Finding a bunch of bones in the dirt = meaningless, Radio Carbon Dating (where 1 bone is 1 million years old, the bone next to it is 20,000, talk about >90% margin of error) = meaningless.

Give us the observable, testable, REPEATABLE evidence. Otherwise, don't try and push this "religion" disguised as $$$$$cience.

You should include the aborigines murdered in the evolution charts because those were used to support evolution in the 1900s (The bone collectors: a brutal chapter in Australia's past).

I’ve got a biology degree and I think I know what real science looks like :) Creationist misconceptions ain’t it. ;)

Let me address your ignorant rant about carbon dating first . Carbon dating is only good for 50,000 years at a maximum. So finding C14 in a millions of years old dinosaur bone is meaningless because you can’t date it with carbon dating and it’s most likely contamination. There are other techniques you can use to date a bone that old, just not carbon dating

Sorry I don't follow that logic. It logically looks like evolution was running backwards. Whales now don't have legs. But their ancestors do?

Evolution doesn't have a direction. It goes wherever the environment nudges it. Water based creatures evolved into land animals. Then one of them, the precursor of the whale, evolved into an aquatic animal. You can still find vestiges of hind legs and a pelvic structure in whale anatomy.

For a contemporary version of whale type evolution-in-progress look at the hippotamus. Hippos have moved part of the way towards being fully aquatic. If we leave them alone for a few million years who knows - they too may lose their legs.

I can't believe you're still pushing that garbage. Those "hind leg and pelvic structure" are not vestigial, they are used for mating! This was proven long ago.

Promiscuous Whales Make Good Use of Their Pelvises | Science | Smithsonian

“Contrary to popular belief, these are not vestigial structures. They do have a function. That function is reproduction, and they evolved in response to sexual selection,” says Jim Dines, a co-author on the paper and collections manager at the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum.

This is the type of garbage fraud $cientists keep pushing. 100% of evolution has already been proven wrong and yet they keep pushing it.

You're quite right Morse. There is some evidence indicating that whales use their vestigial pelvic structures in mating. This doesn't mean that they weren't once used as a fully functional pelvic structure used in walking and mating. It also doesn't rule out vestigial legs as the remains of what were once fully functional legs.

Its worth noting that your response to my post is based on information from the same "garbage" scientific investigation and discovery you've been ranting about.

We were taught evolution in school. Their take on it indicated that life originated in water as single cell life and then evolved into fish, which then evolved to have legs and became land animals. Which is why the idea looks backwards evolution as I was taught.
Yes, but not everything in the water today was always in the water.

Fish -> Leg Fish -> Swimmy Land critter -> Land Reptile Type thing -> Land Mammal -> Mammal that swims -> Mammal the mostly swims -> Mammal that only swims

There are weirder lineages. Sea snakes come to mind, they've shifted from primarily sea based, to primarily land based and back again multiple times.

Because you are thinking of evolution in terms of "progression", like a chain of being, when in reality it's about filling biological niches.
