Past injustices are still injustices. But they are injustices of the PAST and not the present or future. What exactly do you want to do about them? What exactly can be done about them?

Can we remember them? Of course. Can we be grateful they are over? Yes! Should we continue to throw it in the face of our fellow Americans who had absolutely nothing to do with it? No we shouldn't .

Should the Jews forget what the Nazis did to them? No, of course not. But the Jews don't go running around saying Germany sucks because of what the Nazis did. Should the Christians run around and throw it in the Italians faces because the Roman empire slaughtered so many of them many years ago? At what point do we say, it's time to move past the past? How many years exactly? Especially when it IS over.

You'll never move to a brighter future while living in the past. You'll never see the good or have gratefulness while holding on to injuries that we're done to your ancestors.

The black community needs to be patient. What they hope to gain in less than two centuries took the white community thousands of years to build. If not for western slavery their condition would be that of the present day African.

The fact is that blacks generally have made huge gains in every field. However there remains a large underclass that lags behind.

No, it most certainly isn't over. There are many psychological studies on the Historical Trauma and Intergenerational Trauma among Native Americans, African Americans, and other minorities.

And who exactly ARE YOU (or anyone else) to dare tell minorities to let it go and move on? And who exactly are you to tell minorities how they are suppose to feel? I'm sorry, but it's obvious that you don't have a clue. You can ignore all the statistics and articles I've already posted and in this post, but that doesn't change anything and it doesn't mean you have a right to tell minorities to get over it.

What do you want from this generation that is so far removed from those events? Do we assume guilt for generations past? This is inconceivable to me personally especially when I see the opportunities available to those minorities.
