Evidence of Christs coming

Can any of the preterists on this board provide any eye witness account of Christs coming in,the clouds.
Jesus clearly said they shall see him coming in the clouds.Please provide eye witness accounts below.

Acts 1:9 KJV: And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Eye witnesses watched as Jesus ascended into heaven into a cloud and it is documented for all ofhs to read.

Now we would like to see and read your eye witness accounts of Christ coming in the clouds as he said he would be seen.

Acts 1:11 KJV: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Please privide a list of eye witnesses to Christ coming in the clouds as he was seen asceding into the clouds.

This phrase has been used a few times in the OT. It represents the power and glory of our Lord. It is also the precursor for war against those who reject the Lord. The Lord used earthly armies to do His will. The Lord traveled in a cloud most of the time from Exodus till the End.

Some partial preterists I've heard of (I think like Kenneth Gentry) notes that this particular instance, in this particular context, refers to the coming judgment on the nation of Israel, instead of his second advent. We see an example of this in other places of Scripture, like Babel (let us come down and confuse their language).

I agree.If memory serves me well i think they were claiming the resurrection had taken place and we both know that takes place when Jesus comes.Ive asked these same people to please provide a date when Jesus came and raised the dead.They never seem to have any evidence for thier claims.

Maybe do some Hebrew idiom study or learn the art of biblical interpretation through hermenuetics. Right now your lens is Dispensational and obviously not shared by partial-Preterists. Your trying to force literal to a non literal description. May be counterintuitive.

No Jesus said there would be witnesses who would see him coming in the clouds.
I gave an example of witnesses seeing Jesus in the clouds.The eye witness account we have is very clear .

Oh,excuse me.You finally told the truth and admitted no one has seen Jesus since he ascended into the clouds.

So when did you see Jesus coming in the clouds?Would you like to be the first to give an eye witness account of seeing Jesus come in the clouds?

Jesus told His disciples that in the same manner that they see Him ascend into heaven, it will be in the same manner when He returns again. When He ascended, He went up into the air and a cloud hid Him from sight. Therefore it is implied that when He comes again, He will descend out of a cloud. One moment there will be no sign of Him at all, and life will be going on as normal, as Jesus described it would the like the days of Noah when people went about their everyday lives and then the flood overcame them without warning.

Then suddenly Jesus will appear out of a cloud and it will be all on!

There will always be a few crackpots that claim some of the strangest things abut the bible, but if I were you, I wouldn't give them a second thought.

He will though as you have said and when he does this prophecy will be fulfilled.
