CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lifestyle might be able to slow down some things.. but I've heard things from older people where diet and exercise seems to be irrelevant. Just last week an older co-worker of mine said that when she feels cold she can feel the cold in her bones.. I was like "what?!?! what does that mean?!", lol and she said all sorts of strange and sad things happen as you age.

Of course its good to take care of yourself, it's just that falling apart is inevitable.
The lady is in her 60s so much older than all of us.. but she tells me things time to time.. that.. well.. not looking forward to being that age anytime soon.. lol.
Not sure how I'll age.. I think I have decent genetics.. like thick hair and probably won't deal with baldness. That can easily age a guy 20 years.. lol.

I can feel Monday approaching. Multiple coworkers out sick, three meetings, an unstable server that needs fixing, and more!
Most of the human lifespan is a plateau, with three basic phases: childhood, adulthood, and elderly. Childhood is approximately the first 20, and elderly is perhaps the last 10-20. The 50 or so years in between are relatively robust for most people.
Falling apart long before before one dies isn't inevitable. Lots of people die quickly in old age, perhaps after contracting aggressive pneumonia or having a heart attack, without much in the way of chronic problems leading up to it.
