Now, back to your confutation of Acts 15. Exhibit three, you wrote "ACTS 15 as shown through the scriptures earlier verse by verse is answering the question; IS CIRCUMCISION from the MOSAIC BOOK of the LAW"; however, Acts 15:5 states 'But some of the sect of the Pharisees who had believed stood up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them and to direct them to observe the Law of Moses"' (Acts 15:5 mentions the same law as John 1:17) which clearly contradicts your words, again!
ACTS 15 as shown through the scriptures earlier verse by verse is answering the question; IS CIRCUMCISION from the MOSAIC BOOK of the LAW a requirement for salvation . This is the CONTEXT of the ACTS 15 and the reason why PAUL and BARNABAS went to JERUSALEM to answer this question *ACTS 15:1-2.
As shown through the scriptures already; the law of MOSES is not God's ETERNAL LAW (10 commandments) and CIRCUMCISION is not one of God's 10 commandments.
Where in ACTS 15 does it say it is referring to God's 10 commandments as being the topic of controversy when the CONTEXT and topic and issue of discussion was "IS CIRCUMCISION (from the MOSIAC BOOK of the law) A REQUIREMENT FOR SALVATION? This is the CONTEXT of ACTS 15. *ACTS 15:1-2.
The law of MOSES *DEUTERONONY 31:24-26; EXODUS 24:7 is not the LAW of GOD (10 Commandments) *EXODUS 20:1-17 that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTOEUSNESS in the NEW COVENANT *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172 and CIRCUMCISION is not one of God's 10 commandments.
Your interpretation of the scriptures here brother disagrees with the rest of the NEW TESTAMENT scriptures.
As the scripture shows, we find the Ten Commandments referenced in the letter in Acts 15. Idolatry and adultery are covered in the letter (Acts 15:29) as well as the Ten Commandments (Deuteronomy 5:8 and Deuteronomy 5:18). The stated purpose of Acts 15:5 is evident. You Judaizers either ignore or try to twist that fact.
As shown through the scriptures already with you brother. Your claims are simply your own words arguing with God's WORD. Your name calling is only evidence you have no scriptures to support your claims here.
ACTS 15 is discussing the question which was; IS CIRCUMCISION A REQUIREMENT FOR SALVATION (ACTS 15:1-2)? Not wheather God's 10 commandment are abolished for new Gentiles BELIEVERS.
What you point out above in relation to the letter to the gentiles including to abstain from Idolatry and fornication only confirms what has been shared with you. ACTS 15 is not discussing if God's 10 commandments are abolished which some seem to teach here. The letter you refer to only supports that God's 10 Commandments are to be obeyed.
The ACTS 15 letter to the new Gentile believers is affirming God's 10 commandments telling them not to commit idolatry and not to commit fornication and letting them know that CIRCUMCISION is not a requirement for salvation.
The reason also for this letter was that they would continue learning God's WORD every SABBATH *ACTS 15:21.
This is also made very clear by PAUL that he is not referring to God's 10 commandments being Abolished in 1 CORINTHIANS 7 following the letter in ACTS 15.
1 CORINTHIANS 7:19 [19] Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.
According to the interpretation for many of ACTS 15 PAUL is contradicting himself.
ROMANS 3:31 [31], Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yes, we establish the law.
Sorry brother God's WORD disagrees with you.
Hope this helps
